On this day in 1996, at a 3 way intersection in south Tampa, in a building that hasn't existed for years, the state of Florida was introduced to a brand new corporation. That's 28 years ago if you're counting. Thank you, to all those who have helped me build this business, throughout all the twists and turns, the ups and downs of uncertainty and prosperity. You all know who you are. I couldn't have ever, ever done this without you, and I'm so proud to have built it together with you. And to the countless loyal and patient customers, who help us feed our families and plan our futures, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Here's to !

The Tampa Bay area has been spared many times from the devastation imposed by brutal hurricanes. So many of our Florida neighbors need our help, and they don't just need it immediately after the storm. This is gonna take months and months to heal. Master Art & Frame will be offering this fine art reproduction of a 1960s postcard image, custom framed with all archival materials and ready to hang. Size is approx 17 x 24. Beyond the cost of the materials used, 100% of the proceeds from this effort will be distributed to the Florida Disaster Fund, the Red Cross, and collaboratory.org (a unified partner group through United Way). We have the honor of maintaining a very longstanding relationship with the Tampa Police Department. This one is special, because Ruben "Butch" Delgado is part of the fabric and history of this city. Thank you Butch, for your many years of protection and service in this community, and congratulations on your well earned retirement!

How much can you 'fit' into your Friday schedule? The final phase of building custom picture framing is called the 'fit up'. Seems like it could be the easy part, right? After all those frames are built, mats are cut, glass is prepped etc... But it's possibly the most important part. No smudges under that glass! No dust particles either! Got to do it right, all the way to the very end.

We love art with a story behind it!
These hand painted Spanish tiles were brought to us by a long-time customer to help capture their history and beauty. They are from Sevilla, are called azulejos in Spanish, and are one of a kind reproductions of two very famous works by renound 17th century artist Bartolomé Murillo. The reproduction artist is Hermosilla. Thanks Jeannette, they are special indeed! Hope to see you guys again soon.

Before & After
Three proud generations of service. That's what our customer wanted to convey here, serving in the airforce himself, following in the footsteps of his father. The final product is a gift for his son, who is now enlisted in the airforce as well. The photo was captured and restored. Before printing, however, images of the client's father and son were phased in, to complete the idea. We used a double stacked frame, a linen mat, museum glass and a plaque to give this one the finishing touch. Thanks again to for your expert help here! Call or message us for more info.

Restoration 101
If you have old photos that you'd really like to enjoy, but they've lost their luster, don't fret! Its easier to bring them back to life than you might think. For this project, our client recently purchased this home in the carrollwood area. The original photo was found in the attic. With the help of our friends at , we captured, recolored, reprinted, and custom framed the fresh, new copy. Message us or call the store for details!

It's hard to believe when I hear myself say this, but Master Art & Frame was incorporated 25 years ago today. On June 10, 1996, I was 26 years old! We've grown so much over all this time, and have created so many enduring relationships and memories. With certainty, we could never have achieved this without our loyal customers. You have trusted us. You've been patient with us. You've supported us over and over, and in many cases, you've become our friends, our family. We are grateful beyond words. One of the coolest shadowboxes we've ever done! Our client, Jim Hall, attended the KISS concert in 1979 at the Lakeland Civic Center. Ticket price? $10! He stood front & center at the stage where Paul Stanley handed him this portion of his broken Gibson Marauder. Jim later spent years acquiring each autograph from the 4 original members of the band. Marc Sonenberg took this project by the reins and turned it into an unforgettable, museum-ready, one of a kind memory. Thanks Jim, and enjoy!
