1958 Buick Convertible
My 95 combine shelling corn last week after a 2 year rebuild. We changed it from a 303 gas to a 329 diesel that we overhauled. Replaced the concave, cylinder bars, grain conveyor chain and sprockets, return and clean grain elevator chain, sprockets and bearings, all cleaning shoe seals and rubber bushings, new sieve and chaffer. All new drive chains and belts. I would like to do the same to my 105 diesel but need to find a new concave.
Installed jordy's decals tonight they are the only way to go!!
Murray KY indoor show was a good time. Some nice Classic Green there.

Fat ath Friday
I'll add a story for the Harlan memories. Back on the fall 2014 Polk auction, this early W113 showed up and I wanted it bad. Its only 8 serials away from my early W111, and I bid my entire bank roll, though it wasnt very much. I came up one bid short, and thought the engine was lost forever.
Later that winter, I got the notion to contact Polks and ask who the winning bidder was. Low and behold, it was Harlan Wilson. So I called up Harlan to see if he still had it. And I believe his words were something like "yup, still sitting in the front yard. Don't know what I am going to do with it, but knew it needed to be saved."
I told him I was the runner up, and he made me a great deal. "you pay my trucking costs, and you can have it for what i paid for it!" This man was a fair as it gets. A true gem of our collecting hobby. He will be dearly missed.
