Kegged our Gruit today, a.k.a. Herbed ale. Alternative bittering comes from rosemary, juniper berries, mugwort, and bay leaves. A grain bill which includes, malted barley, brown malt, oats, and smoked wheat malt compliments the spices. Complex and layered, a real trip back in history.
