Here is another fireplace wall I custom designed and built. Yes I even laid the stone facade for the fireplace. Shaker style cabinets with Cherry open shelves, counters, bench and mantle. I notched the cherry shelves to inlay LED strips for lighting. A couple doors have screen panels for electronics. I love how this came out and even though it was a pain in the ass, I am glad I didn't outsource making the stone fireplace... 😜

Sometimes we carve pumpkins here at Joe's Garage...
Here us another custom murphy bed project that I designed and built over the summer. A mix of open shelves, closed cabinets, and a closet. These are so great to use for a multifunctional room instead of a dedicated spare bedroom.

I custom designed and built this library over the winter(I think). I waited months for them to get cabinet door handles so I could photograph the final look🤣🤣 We did "Greek Villa" painted cabinetry and shelving with rustic Ash for the counters, wine bottle X's and the ladder(which I also built). I put a lot of attention to detail to ensure the design blends into the existing space and feels like it was meant to be. I really love how this came out. So glad to finally share it...

Here is a pantry that I custom designed and built over the summer. Black shaker style cabinets and drawers that are shaped to use up all the space in the corner. I mirrored the shape going upwards with 4 open shelves. They were getting the backsplash installed after I finished so I don't have a photo of the final look yet. This pantry looks beautiful in their black and white kitchen.

Here is a custom booth and table set I designed and built for Pour House. One side has a low bench seat and tables(storage under bench seats). The other side has a couple hightop tables attached. All is constructed from cedar. I have had the privilege to build many pieces of this bar over the years so I am able to incorporate the same styles and elements of design throughout. Also included in this post is a custom brewery sign and a trash can housing/condiment station

I custom designed and built this fireplace media center wall. I love all the colors, textures and patterns involved. Oak bench seats over low shaker style cabinets. Mantle and thick shelves carefully constructed out of oak plywood where I mitered the edges and matched the grain to look like a solid chunk. Behind the TV is grey oak flooring in a herringbone pattern. Shiplap around the modern fireplace.

Here is a custom office wall that I designed and built back in April. (yes I have been slacking on posting projects for a long time...) Shaker style cabinets with birch counters and floating shelves. Also a couple large lateral file drawers.

Here is a Murphy bed wall built-in I completed recently. It was a great use of the space instead of having the guest bed take up the whole room. It looks like it was meant to be there :)

Here is a bigger Kitchen remodel from almost a year ago. I finally was able to go back and take photos of it. For this project I refaced the existing cabinets with new shaker doors and modified the sink cabinet to accomidate a farmhouse/apron sink. Additionally I built new custom cabinets for the back side of the island so they could have one large counter instead of the split height island that was originally there. I also built a new panelled housing to go around the refridgerator. They did the island in a blue color and the rest of the kitchen in white for an awesome overall look. Last photo is the Before...

This is a smaller kitchen and bath project from a few months ago. I refaced the cabinets (Built new shaker doors and painted them to match existing cabinet boxes/Face frames)I was able to expand the size of the doors for a more modern look with less space visible of the face frames. When I reface a kitchen I also install new soft close hinges. On this project I made a custom modern crown for the upper cabinets. The last photo is the before photo.

(post 2 of 2)This was phase 2 of a livingroom makeover with custom built-ins. The second wall is a bench seat/storeage chest under the windows with custom tall shaker style cabinets and upper shelves on either side. The counters/bench are stained and lacquered birch to tie into the color and grain style on the existing floors. The center of the bench also houses the subwoofer for the A/V system I incorporated on the first wall of this project. I also move or add electrical outlets for functionality in my full built in projects. I take pride in my attention to detail when combining function and design into your space.

(post 1 of 2) So here is a project I started in November. This was phase 1 of a livingroom makeover with custom built-ins. The first wall is a media center with special cabinets with screening to house the speakers and A/V equipment. I custom designed and built white shaker style cabinetry and upper shelving. The counters are stained and lacquered birch to tie into the color and grain style on the existing floors. My next post will be the second wall on the left side.

I've been slacking on posting my projects lately so I will be making a bunch of posts the next few days ;P
(Post 2 of 2) Last week I completed this custom laundry room I designed and built from scratch. Light blue shaker style built in cabinets, closet and bench. I made the counter, bench, shelf, coat rack and slide outs out of pine. I made a hidden slide out closet pole for hanging items to air dry. There are 2 custom slide outs above the washer and dryer to hold laundry detergent, fabric softener, etc. Because of the confined space of the room, this is going to be the post of the Horizontal photos of this project and part 1 was the vertical photos...

(Post 1 of 2) Last week I completed this custom laundry room I designed and built from scratch. Light blue shaker style built in cabinets, closet and bench. I made the counter, bench, shelf, coat rack and slideouts out of pine. I made an access door for servicing the washer and dryer hookups. 3rd photo is the before pic. Because of the confined space of the room, this is going to be a post of the Vertical photos of this project and the next will be horizontal photos to showcase other parts...
