We all have a tendency to get off God's chosen path and plan for us. It's okay. He gives you grace, so give yourself grace too. As any loving Father would do, God gently guides us back on His chosen path. It takes us being submissive, obedient and teachable.

We should be so submerged in God's peace that no matter what is happening in our life, we are able to remain as calm as, "the cushion of the sea."

We are programmed by life and experiences to "go, go, go." Jesus was never in a hurry. I pray you feel His peace, and His Presence. Jesus loves you powerfully.

Cafeprayblog 🌹 God wants us to follow His Son with complete abandon. We find freedom when we die to our selves and in complete humility, come to God. This means casting away our fears, hindrances and unanswered questions. When we finally make this choice, we will see Jesus, in all His glory.

Jesus did this with His disciples, and as a result they became His apostles. Christ walked into and transformed people's lives when He walked this earth; and He is still doing it today, from heaven.

This may be why it's so critical to have a good proverbial record playing in your mind. The right proverbial record, repeating the correct messages to you.

What do you say about you? What we don't say in words, we ultimately say in deeds. Sometimes what we say about ourselves isn't accurate, but it's what we believe. What is the breakthrough? To learn to see yourself in relationship to Jesus Christ.

Our lives only have value through our connection to Jesus Christ. So it is all the more important to know who God says you are.

When you find your identity through social media, a career title, your status, financial independence, etc., you will never find fulfillment. These man-made pedestals were created to tumble and fall. When they do, what does that mean? Now, are you a different person all of a sudden? Someone to receive a different level of respect?

When we surrender we find true life. When we give up trying to control our life, we realize God is there to surprise us with His love and grace. I get that we all feel worn out and exhausted. God has a beautiful surprise just around the corner, waiting for you.

For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope.

Cafeprayblog 💫🌟✨ The only way to receive ongoing spiritual growth from God is to be connected to Jesus Christ. This means having a continual conversation with Jesus, since the Bible teaches us He is constantly interceding for us to our heavenly Father. To receive God's wisdom and understanding requires staying in God's Word too. There are times I have read a certain passage and it did not reveal any new thing, and then I will read it at another time in my life and God reveals a new truth to me. The Holy Spirit can show us what it wants us to see but we have to do our part. Staying in prayer with God and remaining in His Word are both two truths that will help impart spiritual truth and kingdom revelation to God's people; to Christ's followers.

So if you have been raised with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

Once a person is baptized in Jesus Christ, that means they no longer live as though they belong to the world. We have to be so very careful in what we think about, what we choose to watch, and who we choose to surround ourselves with. Spiritual discernment is everything in living a free life.

When we choose to focus on life through the lens of eternity, we keep our perspective rooted in Scripture. A personal relationship with Jesus is so important. Not being religious, but being spiritual. Rules without relationship lead to rebellion.

Cafeprayblog 🕊 Pray, pray, pray, and pray some more. Prayer is our access to God and His kingdom coming to earth. Dr. Tony Evans says that standing firm in the armor of God does not stop the spiritual warfare from raging. It stops it from defeating you.

The enemy has three goals: to steal, kill, and destroy. As Christians, we face a great battle every day because we are a threat to the enemy's plans. It is our job, and in our best interest to put on our spiritual armor daily for the inevitable spiritual warfare we will face each day.

Satan puts a good amount of effort into trying to deceive us every day. He's watched you all your life. He knows your hang ups, your history, where you're weak, and he knows all your patterns. His big goal is to trip you up so that you won't fulfill God's plan for your life.

Human strength cannot fight him efficiently, but God's spiritual armor can, will and does. (Read Ephesians 6:10-18).

Satan's goal is to break our fellowship with God. He wants to use sin as the vehicle to try and separate us. Satan's power is in deception and influence. A person's free will can cause them to go with or against sin.

Sin will always cost more than Satan's advertised price. Satan will never include a warning label. His goal and intention is to get you and me to fall for whatever lie he is pushing. There is no warning label stating: "Will cause heartache and destruction."

Cafeprayblog 🌸 Christians are to reflect God's love. How else would a lost soul be called to know Jesus?

God's love in action is serving others, it's seeking what is best for another person's life.

We can reflect God's nature in what we choose to say, think, and do. Look at the way Jesus demonstrated how to live, and how to love. Jesus is the light of the world.

Jesus spoke to them again: “I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.”
John 8:12

We can only reflect the light if we are in the light. Biblical love is compassionate and sacrificially pursues the well-being of another.

Satan has a goal, to shut down God's people. He knows no thing can shut us down like disunity. Our loving Creator has equipped every believer with a spiritual gift to be used in service for expanding God's kingdom.

Peace is the only visible spiritual belt to hold God's people together.

We all grow and mature when we choose to operate in harmony, and in unity. Maturity comes from our connection to each other.

What does God's Word say about all of this?

If you used to rob, you must stop robbing and start working, in order to earn an honest living for yourself and to be able to help the poor.
Ephesians 4:28

And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.
Ephesians 4:32

We are called to live our lives from a spiritual lens. It's important to check in with yourself and ask what perspective you are viewing life through.

for what makes everything visible is light. Therefore it is said: Get up, sleeper, and rise up from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.

Pay careful attention, then, to how you walk - not as unwise people but as wise - making the most of the time, because the days are evil. So don’t be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.

The Bible teaches us God is able to rescue us from a fiery furnace:

God can deliver us from the mouths of lions:

God is able to give sight to the blind:

Cafeprayblog 🌷🌷🌷 The Holy Spirit comes to live in every believer and follower of Jesus Christ. The more the Holy Spirit is fed, the more it flourishes. It's a foreshadowing of eternity, and what we will all experience one day. 🙏🕊

Cafeprayblog 🌺 We receive the benefit and blessings from those deep and fiery trials we walk through. God will not shield us from them. It's not because He is an unloving God - in fact, it's just the opposite. God wants us to be eternally changed by the tests we walk through. Are the tests you walk through helping to grow your character?

In every trial and troubling experience we walk through, we are conquerors. Victory isn't found in escape. Sometimes the best victory for us comes from living in the challenging circumstances of life. When you have a willing, submissive, and obedient spirit in these experiences, that is when God is carving out your calling through shaping your character. God is shaping you into a loving, kind, compassionate, trusting, and caring follower of Jesus Christ.

We walk with God when we choose to make His kingdom agenda our own.

God sees each of our work and He will renew us accordingly. We are not to grow weary or give up, because our labor is not in vain. We are not working for people, but for God.

Just as bad company corrupts good morals: Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.” (I Corinthians 15:33); hanging out with godly people will encourage you to follow their example of faith, love, and service.
