It's officially one week til the start of the 27th edition of Bern's Winefest!
Today we're featuring two Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons.
Mount Veeder Winery Cabernet Sauvignon from the highly touted 2021 vintage, is sourced from three different estate vineyards above the fogline along with other sites throughout the Valley, giving this wine layers of complexity.
Duckhorn Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 displays ripe black fruits and the signature dusty tannins that the Rutherford AVA is famous for.
Both of these wines are currently available for purchase at Bern's Fine Wine & Spirits.

Today we're featuring two California Pinot Noirs that will be poured among the many wines at this year's Bern's Winefest.
Goldeneye Gowan Creek Vineyard from Anderson Valley- This wine, from one of the coolest growing regions in California, showcases ripe fruit and persistent acidity.
Joseph Phelps Freestone Vineyards Sonoma Coast- Composed mostly from estate fruit, this wine is juicy and concentrated with a silky texture.
Both of these wines are available for purchase now at the shop.

Today We're featuring red blends from Napa that we'll be pouring at Bern's Winefest this April.

Groth 'Oakcross' 2020 is a Cabernet Sauvignon blend with Merlot and Petite Verdot from the Oakville district.

'Memoir' 2019 is a small production Bordeaux blend from Ackerman Family Vineyards located in the Coomsville district.

Both of these wines are available for purchase here at Bern's Fine Wine & Spirits.

Every Saturday this month we'll be featuring some wines that will be poured at Bern's Winefest that are available for purchase here at Bern's Fine Wines & Spirits.
Today we have two different sparkling producers.
Champagne Mandois, owned by Albert Bichot.
The Brut Origine has ripe fruit and a low dosage that lends to a well structured Champagne at an unbeatable price point.
The Vintage 2017 Blanc De Blancs Brut is 100% Chardonnay from Premier Cru Vineyards.
It has a softer profile while still retaining persistent acidity.
The Vintage 2018 Ca' del Bosco 'Saten' Franciacorta is Italy's traditional method sparkling made from 85% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Bianco. It has a silky smooth refined palate.
We will be tasting the Mandois Brut Origine at the Shop today. If you've never tried it, come by and see what it's all about.

We just received a small amount of the newest release from 2XO Oak series finish American Oak.

Chateau Ducru-Beaucaillou was founded in 1720. It was classified a second growth by Napoleon in the 1855 classification of the Medoc in Bordeaux.
In more recent years it has become known as a super second (a second growth whose quality is now on par with the first growths).
We have the 2001 & 2015 vintage available in our Rare Room.
