Yesterday we had some unexpected guests on our bike ride! It was an awesomely surreal moment we had. Not all monkeys are sweet like these guys were.

3.5 years ago I made one of the biggest leaps in my (then) 19 years of being a stylist (now almost 23 years). I branched out on my own. I chose to be my own boss. Anyone who’s ever made such a move understands what I’m talking about…. It’s the scariest leap of faith in your abilities to survive, make a living at your career, everything is on YOU! At that time I wasn’t sure what my outcome would be. I could thrive, or fall flat on my face. Throw a pandemic into the mix of my first 5 months on my own….Thankfully, I thrived! I’ve taken my business further than I ever expected I would. None of where I am today came easy. Quite honestly it has been some of the hardest, most challenging, stressful, yet immensely rewarding work I’ve ever done throughout my career!
