Men’s mental health is a topic that I feel is still underrepresented and deserves more attention and awareness. 💙

Men are often taught to keep their feelings and emotions hidden and to “be a man” and that simply isn’t healthy, let alone fair.

If you know a man who struggles with talking about what’s going on in his mind, one step to getting him closer to being able to talk about it is getting him to journal about it. ✍🏼

Writing your thoughts, feelings, emotions, etc helps to get it out of your head and off your chest. It takes the heaviness off your shoulders.

I created this journal to advocate for men & their right to self care as well as to bring awareness to their mental health. I hope this journal helps lead certain statistics in a different direction and can be a positive light in the lives of people who need it. 🩵

👋🏼 hey y’all, it’s me again and it’s been a while since you’ve seen my face! Let’s get to know each other again. ❤️

My name is Amber and I’m the owner of The Beauty Babe Studio! I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist since 2017 and I’ve worked all over central Florida. In 2021, I opened my own business in a suite! In 2022, I brought that business from Sanford to Tavares to be more local to my clients and my home.

But, burnout is very real and after 5 years of doing hair and not taking many breaks for myself, it started taking a toll on me and my body. So I decided to take a break from the world of beauty in October of 2022. Roughly 7 months later, I started doing a little hair here and there and realized how much I missed my career and my clients! So I started planning my way back into the world of beauty and now, I’m back! 😍

I’ve learned so much in the in between and I know now how important it is to slow down and live a little! And I want to remind you to do the same. Be sure to take breaks and take care of you! You really can’t pour from an empty cup and you deserve so much more than that.

A lot of you are wives, mamas, nurses, teachers, etc and you lead very busy lives. Keep in mind that you’re just as worthy of all the love and support you give everyone else. 💕

And when you need a little extra TLC, I’ll be here to pamper you. When you’re ready, let’s catch up! I hope you’re doing well and I can’t wait to hear all of your stories 💗

We are in the closing process of buying our house! ✨

Next is obviously moving in which we are so excited for! 💗

In between all of the crazy going on, I’m doing hair! I’m currently offering house calls to pre existing clients (for safety purposes) and to rebuild my clientele while we get settled in the new house. 🏡

Exciting news! 💫

I will be re-opening very soon! 💗 I’ve missed you all so much and I’ve definitely learned that I should take vacations/time out of the salon more often to prevent burnout so this doesn’t happen again.
