Why fashion photography?
I have been working in the photography industry for over 7 years, a laureate of photo contests and trained by the top leaders of the photography.
I teach entry level photographers, providing them the basic skills of composition, lighting, posing and self-presentation.
Why do people want to study with me? Because my students enjoy the images that I create.
Since I was a child I've always been attracted to pictures in magazines. A special moment for me was to find an issue of a magazine and look inside at the beautiful photographs and spreads with reproductions of paintings. All the walls of my bedroom were decorated with these pictures, when I was only 10 years old. Thus began my love for art and photography.
By the way, my Dad was also fond of photography. I remember how I stood next to him and watched how he developed pictures, immersing them in special solutions under the light of a red lamp. Today young photographers don't even have a clue about how a photo is produced from film.
I can develop photo film myself. This helps me to focus more on the original source of the image, on a person and the composition, and not the possibilities of Photoshop.
Also my ability to create great pictures was influenced by the fact that in the late 80s, when I was in high school, I sat down at a sewing machine and began to sew fashionable clothes for myself. It was at this time when I began to hear enthusiastic compliments from my acquaintances and friends about my sense of style and my ability to select beautiful combinations of clothes.
When my second child started kindergarten, I chose my future path as a professional photographer. I went to college for 4 years to study photography, art and design. There I began to participate in art exhibitions and win prizes. Continued in comment ⬇️

So, it's time to reveal the cards!
In one of the previous posts, one fact about me was false, and it’s
#9 - I love extreme sports, speed and I even went skydiving once.
In fact, I have a hard time surviving riding even small roller coasters.

All other facts about me are the pure truth. Even the fact that my children are related to King Henry-VIII of England. It was confirmed by DNA testing.

My favorite artist is Van Gogh. I re-read the biographical novel about him, Irving Stone's Lust for Life, five times. There is something inexplicably attractive to me in his personality. I feel a connection with him at the level of my soul.

I can take photos without a picture camera. In this way I created a series of photographs that I consider to be one of my best works. One of them won 3rd place in a photo contest. Several of them participated in exhibitions and were published in a magazine. And of course, they decorate the front entrance to my photo studio. How do I do it? I'll tell you in my stories.

В одном из предыдущих постов, один из 10-ти фактов обо мне был выдумкой, и это ответ
#9 - «Обожаю экстрим, скорость, прыгала с парашютом».
Хоть иногда могу быть не совсем трусихой, но на деле, я с трудом переживаю катание даже на небольших американских горках.

Зато, все остальное чистая правда. Даже факт родства моих детей с королем Англии Генрихом-VIII, по отцовской линии. Подтверждено исследованием ДНК.

Мой любимый художник - Ван Гог.
Перечитала биографический роман о нем, «Жажда жизни» Ирвинга Стоуна, наверное раз пять. Есть что-то необъяснимо притягательное для меня в его личности. Чувствую с ним внутреннюю связь, общность, как-будто духовное родство.

Я могу делать фотографии без фото-камеры. Создала таким способом целую серию фотографий, которую считаю своими лучшими работами. Одна из них заняла 3-тье место на фото конкурсе. Несколько из них учавствовали в выставках и печатались в журнале. И конечно же, они украшают холл перед входом в мою фото-студию. Как я это делаю? Расскажу как-нибудь в сторис.

The more choice, the more difficult it is to make a choice.
Would you agree?

There are up to 20 speakers every day giving their work-shops at the same time at the ImagingUSA photo show Imaging USA], which I’m attending in January. Many of the speakers absolutely incredible, award winners, who have channels on YouTube, thousands of subscribers on Instagram and Facebook. Some of them working at their own equipped studios and selling $700-$1500 photo shoots. Each speaker teaches trandy topics, handy skills and give a great opportunity to create a portfolio.
My dilemma about what workshop to attend:
“Children’s portrait. How to take an ordinary location and elevate it into something magical?”
or
“Mastering the Art of Maternity Posing.”

At the different days I’m choosing between
“Intro to Strobes for Natural Lite Photographers”
and
“The Fine Art Photography Workshop”
Many more choices need to be done soon. 🤯
But even it’s so difficult to make a choice, I think in this case it’s almost impossible to make a wrong one. They are all just fabulous. 😆

На выставке ImagingUSA Imaging USA], на которую я собираюсь в январе, ежедневно будет выступать до 10 спикеров одновременно, разных аудиториях. Многие спикеры невероятные личности, победители выставок, у которых есть собственные каналы на YouTube, десятки и сотно тысяч подписчиков в Instagram и на Facebook. Некоторые из них работают в профессионально оборудованных фотостудиях и их фото-услуги оцениваются от $700 до $1500 за фотосессию.
Я стою перед дилеммой, какую тему выбрать какого спикера предпочесть.
Ну почему-то я уверена, что какой бы я не сделала выбор, почти невозможно сделать неправильный. Они все прекрасны.

What should I wish for in the New year?
I wish for many interesting and big events, for new interesting acquaintances and impressions.

Less than three weeks are left before the one of the largest photography events in America, ImagingUSA , which will take place in Washington DC in mid-January 2022. I planned this trip back in October and am now looking forward to the event.

The exhibition will include 150 seminars, performances and master classes on a variety of topics for photographers. Can you imagine what it would be like to choose which one to go to?
I have almost decided which conferences and speakers to attend. One of them is Stacy Robeson , a top children’s portrait photographer and a winner of the WPPI 2021 International Photography Competition. Her work and technique won me over at the first sight.
But since I will get to such a large-scale event, I decided to stay there for 3 days and attend 6 different work-shops of masters of photography from the USA.

Много новых, больших, интересных событий! Новых приятных встреч и впечатлений.

Уже меньше трёх недель осталось до одного из крупнейших событий для фотографов в Америке, выставки ImagingUSA, которая пройдет в Вашингтоне, в середине января 2022. Я запланировала эту поездку ещё в октябре и теперь с нетерпением жду начала мероприятия.
На выставке будет 150 семинаров, выступлений и мастер-классов на самые разные темы для фотографов. Поедставляете, каково это, выбрать, на какое из них пойти?
Я уже почти определилась с программой. Вообще то я сначала хотела поехать туда только ради одного спикера - Стейси Робесон, детского портретеого фотографа и победительницы международного конкурса фотографии WPPI 2021, чьи работы и техника меня покорили с первого взгляда.
Но раз уж я попаду на такое масштабное событие, я просто не могу не попытаться взять от туда максимум пользы для себя. Поэтому я пробуду там 3 дня и побываю на 6-ти разных мастер-классах от топовых мастеров фотографии США.

А какого Нового года желаете себе вы? 😀

Looking forward for participating in that major photography event in Washington DC, in January 2022.
I’m planning to attend 6 different classes and workshops within 3 days.

The first conference I’m attending is
“The addiction for print competition. Don’t say No!”
I have participated in eight art exhibitions in my life and am determined to participate further.
This conference will help me to understand what the jurors are looking for in a competition entry. The quality level of photographs I should consider entering and how to thchnically prepare my images for printing or digital entries.
Do you remember my slogan from my Instagram account BIO? - “Photos for your soul and for your wall.”
Yes! I’m keen to create more of printed artwork that you would like to put on your wall.

Looking forward for learning, having fun, getting inspired, meeting new friends, and expanding my portfolio.
