Our next Bring-A-Friend week is SEPTEMBER 23RD - 28TH!!
You’re invited to bring WHOEVER for a week of FREE classes to help show them what CFT is all about. No matter what fitness level, all are welcome to come! As always, the people you bring can come to as many classes as they’d like and they don’t have to come with you.
Remember that walking in the door for the first time is the hardest part, and we are more than just a gym - we’re a community! Remind your friends and family that they will be SUPPORTED, they will be ENCOURAGED, and it will be FUN!!

As a side note, don’t forget you have the ability to give a $60 DISCOUNT to any friends or family that you refer to our gym for their first month of membership. Referrals mean the world to us, so as a thank you for helping us grow our community, you will also receive $60 OFF your next month’s membership (or a check if you have already paid for the year in full) if they sign up for a membership! We’ve had a couple of people ask about getting their own CFT 2POOD belt, so here’s your chance!!
We will have two options available for you to choose from - $55 each. If you’d like to add your name, it’s an extra $15 and will be by the belt loop or “wodclamp”.
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO TRY ON A 2POOD BELT AT THE GYM BEFORE ORDERING!! We have several hanging up on the wall by the slam balls. 2POOD belt sizes do not correlate to pant size!!

NEW CLASS TIME - 7:30AM

We’re excited to expand our class schedule by adding a 7:30AM CLASS on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays starting next week on Monday, August 19th!
Depending on how many people use this class time, we may add in Tuesday and/or Thursday as well - we shall see how it goes!

CFT GOES GOLFING - SATURDAY, AUGUST 10TH @ PEBBLE CREEK

Anybody and everybody is welcome to join us - and you don’t even have to be good at golf! We’re all about having fun and using our fitness outside the gym 🏌️♂️ 🏌🏼♀️ so don’t be afraid to come have some fun! We will be playing 18 holes, teams of 2, captains choice, in order to make it fun for everybody.
We DON’T have a tee time quite yet! Please let us know if you are interested or put your name on the board at the gym by MONDAY, AUGUST 8TH so that we can call and make a tee time ⛳️

Our next BBC starts AUGUST 15TH! We’re coming back around to the SN**CH for this cycle.

CROSSFIT KIDS - ROUND 4

Our fourth cycle of CrossFit Kids will start AUGUST 13TH!!
We’re keeping things the same as last time with dates/times and committing to a class time for both days! Again, here’s an example: 3:15pm on Tuesdays and 6:00pm on Fridays or 6:00pm on both Tuesdays and Fridays, etc. This will allow us to know how many children will be in each class and give you all more flexibility on what classes you can bring your kids to.

- a 6-week program from August 13th - September 20th
- AGES: 4-12 years old
- TIMES: 3:15pm and 6:00pm on both Tuesday and Friday
We have CHANGED THE PRICES so please be aware of that:

Our Foundations Class focuses on introducing you to some of the fundamental CrossFit movements in a smaller, group setting that is centered around removing the uncertainty you may feel before trying a class.

If you somehow forgot, we have MURPH this weekend! Those of you who are participating have already signed up for a time on Saturday. If you haven’t, there are still some spots available. Let’s talk about this before you stop reading this post - the WHY behind this workout.
If you’ve noticed our stories this week, we’ve been posting some great videos to remind everyone that this workout is to honor those who have given their lives to serve our country and for no other reason. This is a very hard workout that is both mentally and physically exhausting. Just because your legs and arms get tired, doesn’t mean your reps get worse. Just because you’re hot and uncomfortable, doesn’t mean you forget how to count. Just because you want to beat your time from last year, doesn’t mean you cut reps. Just because you may have done better, doesn’t mean you brag about it. We honor those who have given their all with every single quality rep that you do, with every single drop of sweat, and with every time you think about giving up but don’t.
Other things to remember:
- the time you signed up for is when your heat is going to START, NOT when you should get to the gym - come early to warm up and get prepared
- bring a water bottle and other forms of hydration, plus anything else you may need to - it’s going to be a warm one
For all your recovery needs, JP - aka our favorite massage therapist - will be here on Saturday! His hours and pricing for the day are on the next slide.

Cameron Trolinger (Owner/Head Coach)
Cameron grew up in Greenville, SC where he played multiple sports including baseball, basketball, golf and soccer. He started taking CrossFit classes as a healthy stress reliever while he was attending Clemson University. After graduation, Cameron decided to become a snowboarding instructor on Lake Tahoe, which is where he discovered his ability and passion for coaching others. CrossFit has been a part of his life for 6 years now, including coaching for over 3 years. His main goal is to find a way to show how important, but also how easy it can be to make personal health and longevity a priority. He tries to connect with each athlete and teach them in a way that makes sense for them, without making the gym a stressful environment. Cameron enjoys staying up-to-date on CrossFit information in order to provide members with the best experience possible.
