The broken water line is currently being repaired and we are now set to reopen earlier than expected. The Eastside YMCA will reopen on Monday, May 27 with modified hours from 9am-1pm in observance of Memorial Day.

Temporary Closure of Eastside YMCA for Water Pipe Repair

Unfortunately, we must inform you of an unforeseen issue that requires our immediate attention. We have identified a broken water line in our upper parking lot that requires urgent repair.

To facilitate the repair process, we will need to shut off the water supply to the entire facility. Consequently, the Eastside YMCA will be closed starting from Friday, May 24th, and will remain closed until Monday, May 27th, reopening on Tuesday, May 28th.

We understand the inconvenience this closure may cause and assure you that we are working diligently to resolve the issue as swiftly as possible.

There is a strong possibility that the water pipe will be repaired before Tuesday. If this is the case, we will communicate any early reopening dates promptly.

During this temporary closure, we encourage you to explore alternative workout options or visit any YMCA of Greenville Facility during this time.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to address this matter promptly.

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and we'd like to invite you to join us as "We Wear Blue!" In a show of solidarity, we are asking our staff and members to wear blue on Friday, April 19th to help recognize the importance of families and communities working together to prevent child abuse and neglect, so all kids can have a safe, healthy childhood!

Last night, the Eastside Family YMCA Advisory Board gathered together to socialize and discuss the future of our YMCA. We extend immense gratitude to these dedicated volunteer leaders who generously contribute their time to uphold the Y's mission and strengthen our community.
