The "Golden Age" of aviation was the quickest era of development between the 1920's into the 1950's. Golden Age Flight Museum seeks to acquire flyable aircraft to demonstrate to the public and excellent examples of artifacts with educational value from this era. Pancho Barnes' original boots and spurs are on display in our museum along with other personally owned artifacts from the famous women aviator and air race pilot. Pancho started the Happy Bottom Riding Club, also known as the Rancho Oro Verde Fly-Inn Dude Ranch, the establishment was a favored hangout for both test pilots and the Hollywood elite during the 1940s, boasting over 9,000 members worldwide at the height of its popularity.

Took our Fat Cat to the fly in at Bakersfield Municipal airport yesterday and had a nice time letting kids check it out.
Successful engine run on the Howard 250 / Lockheed Lodestar. Just about ready to fly after an extended maintenance break.
