Show your appreciation to our amazing teachers and staff with these fun ideas!

🍎 Monday: Stock the staff lounge with healthy snacks & treats!
🌸 Tuesday: Bring a beautiful flower or draw a picture for a teacher or staff member.
🖐 Wednesday: Give teachers and staff a high five when you see them on campus!
😆 Thursday: Tell teachers and staff members a joke - make them BUZZ with laughter!
📝 Friday: Write a note, draw a picture, or tell your favorite teacher or staff member just how SWEET they are!

These are just suggestions! We encourage students and families to show their appreciation in any way they would like!

✨ Join us for a magical Winter Family Dance at Paloma Elementary on Friday, Jan 19th! ❄️ Dress in your best and dance the night away to your favorite tunes. Light refreshments provided. Don’t forget to RSVP - it’s going to be a frosty fabulous time! ❄️

Garden Club Part 2!

The PES Garden Club had a great time today creating art from slices of wood! So much creativity and so much fun! Thank you, Mrs. Polhill and Mrs. Ward for supporting this club!

🍎🍎🍎Today at Paloma our Apple Seedlings Program is off and running! Two students from every K-5 class have been trained to help other students navigate and troubleshoot technology in the classroom. Seedlings participated in training held before school and today conducted classroom presentations that showcased some basic iPad skills. Our Seedlings did an AMAZING job and watching them in action presenting to their peers was inspiring! Thank you to our OnSite Technology Experts, Mr. Cruz and Mrs. Green, and our Instructional Coach, Mrs. Rowland for all of your work getting this program off the ground at Paloma!🍎🍎🍎

Last week, we held our Spelling Bee. ⭐️ 🐝 ⭐️
Shout out to our top 4th and 5th grade spellers who participated in the PES Spelling Bee last Wednesday. Congratulations to our champion: Riki, our Runner Up: Max, and our Alternate: Liam! A special thank you to Mrs. Polhill our Spelling Master and the volunteers that attended as judges. The District Bee is in January!

🏃‍♀️ 🥗 Healthy Choices Week is just around the corner! The week of November 27th - get ready to join us for a week of fun and healthy activities that will teach students about the importance of making healthy choices. We'll have everything from dress up days to walk to school day and other fun surprises, so there's something for everyone!

Finally, Fifth Grade ~ We are grateful for our Fabulous 5th teachers and for all they do to support students in their final year here at PES before middle school!

We are so grateful for the specialists who support our students at PES! Thanks for the fun and engaging opportunities and learning experiences you provide for our students.
