She would say, ‘Here, you just roll the dice and then you do this and then you do this. It’s so simple. How could you not understand this?’ I can still hear her. She was not only my favorite comedian; she was a favorite friend.” - Betty White

Lucy and Betty had a very rare and beautiful friendship. They considered each other as family. Betty looked up to Lucy and Lucy became a mentor for her. When Allan Ludden died of stomach cancer in 1981, Lucy was right there for Betty. She brought her a meal and she was sure the cure for anything was backgammon. She made Betty laugh when she was most upset, and that’s the kind of friendship they had. I think we all want a long-lasting friendship like that. 💕

Saw this on my personal Facebook feed just now. This story has all the greatness of how our vintage communities and their people can be for each other. Let us all keep this story in our minds during our searches, we may just make someone’s day. 🥰

Doll Hospitals - Did you ever visit one has a child. I actually had never heard of them, although I have found out there was one in my community where I grew up. One idea I have been toying with is creating sales events that are open to other vintage sellers, right here on our page. But, I need some feedback from you all. I know there are a lot of vintage selling groups on Facebook. This would not be a group you have to join, but an open shop. Would you enjoy purchasing items from vintage sellers right here on our Reawakened Vintage page?
