Hello everyone. A quick post to remind everyone that this time of year many baby opossums are leaving the moms to head out on there own. This mamma has a couple baby's hiding in the vines behind her. Keep an eye on your pets in the evenings so these little guys get a chance.
Although very unappealing looking, opossums get a bad wrap. They are non rabies carriers (vector species) and eat lots of rodents and pesky bugs.
