We’re a full-service wedding flower studio crafting artful and sustainable designs for your big day.
Dear Friends & Supporters,
After much consideration, I have decided to place my floral studio on an indefinite hiatus. This has not been an easy decision, but it is one that I believe is necessary at this time.
During this period, I will not be accepting new bookings or inquiries. If you have an existing contract with us, rest assured that I will fulfill all commitments as agreed.
I want to express my deepest gratitude for your continued support and trust in my services. This is not a goodbye, but rather a pause as I take time to reassess, continue learning, and to rejuvenate.
Thank you for your understanding, and I look forward to sharing any future developments with you.
Warm regards,
Devoné Austin

We’re officially giving you permission to not know a thing about flowers.
You don’t need to know what’s in season.
You don’t even need to know the name of that one in the photo.
All you need to do is give us a quick rundown on the vibe, share a few practical details and we can sort through the rest.
Follow the link in my bio to learn more.
Yours truly,
Devoné A.

If nothing else, my wish for my couples is to have the most fun and beautiful wedding they could’ve imagined.
On this special day you’re surrounded by all your loved ones, you can drink as much champagne as you like and you‘e getting the queen treatment, getting your hair and makeup done by the pros.
Although the day may not run exactly as you may have dreamed — it could be raining, it might be too hot, or maybe it’s a perfect, slightly overcast day — no matter what, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
What a blessing it is for us to be invited to be a part of this experience in your life. Thank you s much for allowing us to take part in making your special day gorgeous.

We can’t wait to connect with you!

We’ve finished packing and our boxes are off to Arizona! As I savor these last couple of days before our departure to the Valley of the Sun, I am filled with immense gratitude for NYC and all it’s given us.
This city is for the big dreamers, the doers, the hustlers, the ambitious! To be able to take this energy back home and to continue to pour it into this next chapter of Bobbie Louise Floral is priceless and I'm not taking it for granted one bit.
In time I will share more about the significant changes underway, but for now, just know we’re here and we’re still available for weddings, starting this summer in Arizona.
Our philosophy hasn't changed. We still strive to support local growers as much as we can, we design sustainably with no floral foam or single-use plastics, and it’s always eco-chic.
I know it’s been crickets around here as we’ve been busy prepping for this weekend's move, but don’t worry, we’ll have more to share with you as soon as we get settled into Sun Devil Town, Tempe, AZ.
I'll miss the East Coast, but I’ll always be a Westside gal. Arizona, get ready for us!
Thank you so much to everyone who shopped with us on this rainy Mother’s Day. It means a lot that you supported us despite the weather. Seeing many familiar faces at our last popup in JC was also a joy. It’s indeed been such a fantastic experience to do business at . It's easily the best farmers market in town, so stop by during the season!
Next weekend, we have our final wedding, and it’ll be the last week to order flowers from me; shortly after, I’ll post a bunch of items for sale + free as I pack up the studio and prepare to say goodbye. Be on the lookout for more information about my move-out sale.
💚🌸✨
I'm going to miss all of the local flowers here. and have been the most amazing resources to source sustainable locally grown blooms. Their growers have infused their fields with so much hard work, love and care… it's evident in every stem. I am going to miss shopping with you and especially Garden State. Its been such a pleasure getting know you this last year, talk about the kids, life and business. You all really became my friends and I'm going to miss you dearly. And again, thank you for providing a platform for Florists to source locally grown flowers. You all are amazing and I'm excited to get to know and shop with after the move! So so so happy to see a new collective in Phoenix!!
Workshop Withdrawls.
Ariella & Max have the most welcoming chemistry. It has been such an honor to spend this last week with them and the other attendees learning through play. I’ve also fallen in love with the bay and will be California dreaming for days. Thank you so much, Ariella & Max, for bringing me along on one of the most memorable educational floral experiences I’ve ever had. I’m excited to practice what I’ve learned!
Heading to SF for a Flower Workshop in the morning, so I left my boys with lots of flowers so they’ll think of me.

I had the privilege of sharing a bit about my entrepreneurial journey with the fun, beautiful, and curious students of Gateway Academy in Newark. They came prepared with questions like do I need to file an LLC first? Who inspires you? Where do you see your business in 10 years? I didn't have answers for every question, but I hope I was able to help them understand that you don't need all of the answers to get started and that you'll find the answers along the way.
This journey requires bravery, willpower, tenacity, hard work and support! I know one the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is that I don't have to do everything in my own. There's almost always someone willing to help and I truly hope they took that away with them.
Black History is being made every day and representation matters. I can't wait to see how the kids will grown and help to shape our community and the world for the better.

A modern whites & greens wedding bouquet affair. Textural and petite. The Princess Miyuki roses have the most delicate and beautiful fragrance. I always try to incorporate blooms or foliage that will give it's holder a reason to keep their bouquet close. I hope for flowers are bred and grown for their scent. It's not considered enough.

Around this time last year, I connected with some beautiful individuals in the .education community, which proved to be an inspirational start to the beginning of Bobbie Louise Floral. A few of us have stayed connected, and our micro-community continues to be a valuable resource. Never doubt the power of networking with your industry peers! But I've learned so much this past year, and I’m still learning and evolving today on my terms and with the support of an inclusive & super-creative floral community. I’m one week away from the studio launch, and I feel so much pride in what I've accomplished and the outpouring of love and appreciation I've received from my local community and all of you here on IG. I was filled with so much doubt and fear to start. I had hang-ups around what I felt I needed to prove to be deserving of my desires for the studio and unnecessary stress about how I was supposed to appear to people online or what people would think of me and my work. Social media can be a breeding ground for insecurity and I'm human and it does affect me at times. Still, the truth is the only person's opinion that matters is my own, and I'm feeling more confident in that and enjoying playing the game.
This work is not easy. It's for damn sure beautiful, but it can be alot considering I wear all of the hats on top of my responsibilities to my family and to myself. I want manifest more balance and more help this year!
I'm looking forward to the growth and expansion of myself creatively, as a business owner, and personally. One thing I know for sure is that no one exists in a bubble. We all need each other, and I want to discover how I can be more of a positive influence and what I can do to help the world be even a little bit more of a better place for us all.
The hopeless romantic in me has always adored Valentine’s Day. Yes, love should be celebrated everyday, but there’s just something about sharing in the collective celebrations of love with millions of people around the country that that feels supremely ritual like (I love rituals).
The amorous energy of the holiday is phenomenal reminder to openly express our love, affections and devotion towards the people we hold so dear. I love to sprinkle a little magic within the arrangements for the lovers. They’re crafted full of wishes and hopes for the blossoming and maturation of love of all kinds.
I’m looking forward to sharing more about what I’ll be offering this yea. Here’s a look back to our first Valentine’s Day with .
Let’s say I’m in love. I am immensely grateful to have local flowers from available in the winter. They truly are the star here. Other ingredients include helebore, mimosa and camellia leaves.
We make bespoke floral arrangements for corporate gifts. Give us a call to place your order. Delivery is available Wednesdays and Fridays.
We’re closed from December 21st through January 2nd for a Holiday Recess. I wish you a Happy Holidays, and we’ll see you in the New Year!
We had a great day at the Heights Holiday Market yesterday, and I hope you did, too! We brought our favorite dried flowers from this year's growing season, a few handmade wreaths I designed using locally produced materials, fresh seasonal foliage arrangements sourced from local growers, and our new thoughtfully curated gift collection (which I received great feedback on!)
It’s experiences like this, being out in front of the community meeting and chatting with everyone, that feel the most grounding and is a crucial component missing in the studio. A big part of my vision is to have a brick-and-mortar, and every dollar spent with Bobbie Louise Floral helps to bring it closer to fruition.
If you’ve shopped with us in person or online, your feedback is valuable and significant. I'd love to hear how I can make adjustments to improve your experience. If you have a moment, please email me at [email protected] and let me know your thoughts! If you'd also like to leave me a review on Google, that would make my day.
This week, I'll upload our dried flowers to the website and re-order some of the goodies you all loved the most. Everything is available for purchase online and available for a curbside pick up from my studio in the Musicians Building on Central & Waverly.
Thank you!
Thank you so much to everyone who shopped small with us last Saturday at ! Every sale made makes a big impact on the viability of the studio and the livelihood of my family, and I am so grateful for the people of Jersey City who give their support. With your help, we donated to during their Giving Tuesday donation matching event. It was a great feeling to contribute to a humanitarian project that assists many people worldwide in trying to survive a humanitarian crisis.
This is the second time we’ve partnered with a Non-profit; earlier this year, many of you helped us donate to the local non-profit , whose mission is to assist women survivors of domestic violence and their families in achieving self-sufficiency and safety on Women’s Day.
Thank you again for your support and I look forward to seeing you this Saturday at the Heights Holiday Market!
The Heights Holiday Market has returned for its second year, and we’re excited to be a part of it. Find us there this Saturday with various dried arrangements, perfect for gifting, and shop our minority, women-owned, and eco-conscious curated gift collection. The market is open from 10 am to 4 pm with over 80+ local vendors and a festive food court. Get your holiday shopping done with the help of the many local small businesses in our community. Can't wait to see you there!
If you’re shopping this weekend, please consider shopping with us as we donate 10% of our profits made this Saturday to the International Rescue Committee, . Their mission is to help people affected by humanitarian conflicts through helping meet their basic needs, providing education, health services, advocacy, and safety support. I chose this nonprofit not only because of their outstanding rating from , but they’re one of the few non-profit organizations advocating for and helping the people of Gaza when aid is allowed in. They’re also on the ground in Sudan and have been in the DRC since 1996. I encourage you to learn more about them yourself, if you’re curious and I hope to see you this Saturday.
Friends & neighbors, I cannot in good conscience create for a holiday that celebrates the genocide of our own indigenous peoples. We recognize this day as Indigenous Peoples Day and will be spending the day in demonstration and solidarity with all indigenous peoples. As we continue to watch the genocide happening to the Palestinian peoples as well as in the DRC, I will be using this platform to highlight those atrocities and to grieve the innocent lives lost. It is my hope that all human beings have the right to self-determination, the right to live, the right to return home and to have peace and freedom.
Last call for Thanksgiving flowers. Pickup available at Busy Bee Organics on Wed and pickup or delivery available from then studio on Thanksgiving Day until 4pm.
I am at a loss for words. Flowers are my language now.
The last time I was at was for Valentine’s Day. I’m looking forward to returning to help you elevate your table settings this Thanksgiving.
Each arrangement is lovingly and pragmatically crafted to bring warmth and chicness to your gatherings. I’ve sourced all flowers locally and invite you to return your vessel to the studio if you need to part from it.
What I appreciate about Thanksgiving is the opportunity to remember how we got here today; the good, the bad, the ugly, and the beauty deserve our equal observation. I hope we can find a moment to deeply connect with a sense of gratitude, love and rest.
You can make the holidays a bit easier on yourself by sending a gift card. Show a loved one you care by giving them freedom of choice. We have flowers and a curated collection of gifts available in the online shop. Make your loved one feel special this holiday season with a gift card from us! Denominations start at $100.
