"This picture below would likely have never happened but for your persistence and vision for Tyler. That’s him in the front row. He’s attending the Theta Tau Engineering fraternity’s Founders Day Ball on Homecoming weekend at UA. This is his pledge class. He found his people and is thriving! He is assigned to a big brother in Theta Tau, who is a grad student in Electrical Engineering—who is coding for the UA College of Astronomy, on updating the coding to control the telescopes for one of the UA observatories. This guy is such a good mentor for him, encouraging him to code for the university as well with a part-time job, when he’s experienced enough. Tyler has blossomed. He’s getting to his classes—we think he’s doing okay with homework/grades. He lives in an off-campus apartment with his own bedroom/bathroom. His roommates are sophomores/juniors and are ROTC guys. He gets along well with them, but hangs out with the kids at Theta Tau. His cousin is also a freshman there and they have a class together. Tyler loves it there. He hasn’t been home to Gilbert since school started. He’s happy, joyful—always smiling now. Chris and I know how important you and Sebastian were to this day. Thought you might like to see what an impact you had on this kid, on our family. I’ll never be able to thank you and Sebastian enough."-AZ Aspire Academy Parent
