Death of a Department Member

It is with incredible sadness that The Pima County Sheriff’s Department reports a tragic incident involving one of our Corrections Officers.

At approximately 1130 hours, Corrections Officer Brian Krumm suffered a fatal gunshot injury in the secure area of our judicial security at the Superior Courthouse. Corrections Officer Krumm was a 13 year veteran of the department.

Please understand this is a difficult and tragic day for this department and this incident is being carefully investigated.

REST IN PEACE: California Highway Patrol Officer Andre Moye died after he was shot by a suspect Monday night. The suspect was killed and two other officers were injured.

Officer Moye is survived by his wife. Our thoughts are with his family and CHP.
