Whether you’re celebrating a friendsgiving or gathering with family, your Thanksgiving should be special from beginning to end. That’s why we'd like to share this pumpkin pie recipe to make your day as sweet as can be. Give it a try and surprise your guests with this fall favorite. We guarantee it will be the perfect complement to your festive meal. See preparation below!

𝗜𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀

*You can find all the ingredients at Trader Joe’s Grocery Store.

•1 Pumpkin
•1 Frozen Pie Crust, thawed according to package directions
•1/2 cup to 1 cup whipping cream (use more for a larger Pie Pumpkin)
•1 stick Butter, melted
•1/2 cup to 1 cup Brown Sugar (use more for a larger Pie Pumpkin)
•2 Large Eggs, lightly beaten
•2 teaspoons Pumpkin Pie Spice
•1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
•1 pinch TJ's Sea Salt
•Whipped cream, for garnish (optional)

𝗕𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲: 1h 30 mins

𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗶𝘇𝗲: 8-10

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

𝟭. Preheat oven to 350°F. Wash and dry pumpkin, slice in half and remove stem. Use a spoon to scrape out string and seeds and discard (or toast seeds for a snack). Place pumpkin halves cut-side down on a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake 1 1/2 hours, until tender. Remove sheet from oven and remove foil; set aside to cool.

𝟮.Gently unroll thawed crust into a 9"pie pan. Fold crust edge so it doesn't hang over the edge of the pan, and use a fork to crimp edge, if desired. Set aside.

𝟯. Scoop pumpkin flesh into a large mixing bowl and mash with a fork until smooth. Add butter, cream, sugar, vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, and salt and mix until combined. Taste and adjust seasonings and sugar if needed. Fold in eggs. Pour filling into crust.

𝟰. Place pie on center rack of oven and bake 1 hour. Cool 1 hour before slicing. Serve with whipped cream, if desired
