A huge thank you to everyone who walked, ran, donated, and shared our journey for the St. Jude Walk/Run! 🙏❤️ Because of your generosity and support, The Tempe Alumnae Chapter raised an incredible $3,252! These funds will help St. Jude continue their life-saving work for children battling cancer. Your kindness and spirit have truly shown what we can accomplish when we unite for a cause.
Yesterday was such an amazing day walking alongside our sisters from all the Arizona Alumnae chapters of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Teamwork makes the dream work! Let’s continue to raise awareness and fight for those who need us most. 💪🎗
We were busy bees today with events happening all over the Valley. Our Social Action and Economic Development Committees were delighted to support the Black Wealth Tour - Black Farmer + Black Clergy Edition hosted by one of our national partners, the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB).
In coordination with the Alphas and the Sigmas, we registered and educated voters and promoted our youth programs. We learned so much about resources for urban farmers and strategies for churches to build economic growth in the community. We look forward to developing even more partnerships from the amazing organizations we met today.
🌟 Saturday is the big day! 🌟 We're so close to our fundraising goal – let's make one final push! 🎗️💪
