This is the ultimate time of year to visit the San Juan Mountain range of Southwestern Colorado. This is taken near Silverton, which is about an hour north of Durango. Awesome off-roading, hiking and wildflower viewing!

The Century Plant (Agave), seen here in Sedona, lives for decades but flowers only once before dying. Found in Mexico and the Southwest, this beautiful succulent has many uses, from ropes to soap to Tequila. They also pose beautifully for photos 😊
