BAC Students
BAC Students is the Student Ministry of Bedford Alliance Church. We meet Sundays 5-6:30 pm.
Youth night is the best night! Be sure to join us tonight at 5 pm for the final Sunday night of the season! After this week, we'll start our summer schedule, which you can learn more about here: https://bedfordalliance.church/students/summer-schedule
"Therefore, as we have the opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers." Galatians 6:10
Last Sunday, we discussed a hot-button, but important topic: injustice. Biblical justice says good isn't good enough. Jesus died on the cross to atone for the ultimate injustice: our sinful rebellion against God.
Jesus' death didn't just satisfy the legal payment required for sin. The death and resurrection of Jesus made it possible for our relationship with God to be completely restored and to become sons and daughters of God, and co-hers with Christ. The gospel doesn't just satisfy justice. It introduces a higher standard: the standard of generous love.
Join BAC Students at 5 pm as we begin a two-week series about justice! These are our last two Sundays before we begin our summer schedule, which you can learn more about here: https://bedfordalliance.church/students/summer-schedule
See you tonight!
The Amazing Race at BAC Students is tonight! We'll be paired up in teams and completing various challenges leading to the next challenge. The winning team will receive a gift card and there will be free pizza for everyone! See you tonight at 5 pm for The Amazing Race!
Happy Mother's Day to all the awesome moms out there! Remember BAC Students is not meeting tonight. Enjoy time with Mom!
Is it ok to doubt your faith? We'll be discussing doubt in our next lesson of the Darkroom series this Sunday. Join us tomorrow for BAC Students at 5 pm!
Does being a Christian mean you're the "fun-police"? Is God just a killjoy? Join us for Darkroom, a new series beginning tomorrow. See you Sunday night at 5 pm!
Sunday's lesson: Sophie Kills the Vibe. Sophie’s friends throw a party without her – at an apartment where one of the friends is dog-sitting. Things get out of hand, but no one seems to think it’s a big deal, except for Sophie. Should she listen to her friends and stop being the “fun police”? Or can she be a good friend to them while still standing up for what is right?
What do you think of when you think of truth and the church? Pop culture consistently presents truth as relative and the church as antiquated or judgmental. The highest value in our culture seems to be individual preference, with our own feelings being the determination of right and wrong.
This Sunday, BAC Students is beginning a new series called Darkroom. We'll look at the doubts and questions that are normal to faith development. We'll talk openly about the questions we ask in the dark and dig deeper into faith. Don't miss Darkroom starting this Sunday, April 7 at 5 pm!
Happy Easter! Remember we are not meeting tonight; we hope you enjoy time with friends and family celebrating the resurrection. We can't wait to see you next Sunday at 5 pm!
You matter! Do you find yourself looking for worth in external things? You might look outside of God for value, whether it's your friends, social media, achievements, or family. But you already have value! Not because of what you have, what you can do, how popular you are, or how good you are at something. You're valued because God says you are! He demonstrated this through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, which is the reason we celebrate Easter. Save this reminder for when you're tempted to find your value externally. It can change how you view everything!
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him." John 3:16-17
God loves you and likes you. He demonstrated this through the ultimate sacrifice of His Son. Jesus Christ gave up His life for you so you can be forgiven. Then Jesus rose from the grave, defeating death and sin and shame!
Because of Jesus’ death and resurrection, you can experience redemption, renewal, and the promise of eternal life. The Easter story is the greatest story ever told. It's about hope rising from despair and grace that has the power to transform your life. What does it mean to you to have a personal relationship with God?
Happy Palm Sunday! Remember tonight at BAC Students will be our Easter celebration since we're not meeting next week. We'll be having an egg hunt with fun prizes to win! See you tonight at 5 pm!
Love: Good News for everyone. See you tomorrow night at 5 pm!
"For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers." Proverbs 11:14
Sunday we wrapped up our Potential series talking about the importance of godly people speaking into our lives. Having an advisor can help you become the best version of yourself. Advisors can provide guidance and wisdom from their own experiences that help you make better decisions. Who is a godly advisor you can rely on?
Join us for BAC Students tonight at 5 pm! Remember to wear green, and we're giving out free shamrock shakes!
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2
Sunday we discussed how the pressure to be in a relationship can cause you to settle for anything. When you excuse or ignore red flags in a relationship, things can turn harmful. Ask yourself the following questions this week!
We love BAC Students! We can't wait to see you tomorrow at 5 pm as we continue our Potential series - a series on dating and relationships. We're also so excited to introduce student worship beginning this Sunday! See you Sunday night at 5 pm!
Last Sunday was the second week in our Potential series - a series on dating and relationships. We talked about the difference between interest and obsession, and the dangers when you make anyone your everything.
No one person can fulfill you completely. Only through God can you find true love, peace, acceptance, and forgiveness. Whatever you're currently struggling with - anger, loneliness, unworthiness, acceptance - won't be solved by dating. Dating isn't a solution because being single isn't a problem. Are you in danger of making one person your everything?
We can't wait to see you at BAC Students tomorrow night at 5 pm!
Last Sunday, we began our new series called Potential! Potential is all about your potential to develop relationships that change how you see God, yourself, and others. We talked about not just finding the right person when it comes to dating but becoming the right person. Who you date may be temporary, but who you become is lasting. Think about one quality in a potential partner that's important to you. How can you work on that quality in yourself?
Our new series, Potential, begins tonight! This first week, we'll be talking about the long game of life. Who we date may be temporary, but who we become is permanent. See you at BAC Students tonight at 5 pm!
This Sunday, we're beginning a new series called Potential. It's about the kind of relationships that have the potential to change the way we see God, ourselves, and others.
We'll be diving into conversations about all the complex parts of dating and relationships. Don't miss this new series! Join us on Sunday at 5 pm for BAC Students!
Happy Presidents' Day! Do you have today off school? What are you going to do on your day off?

BAC Students
We are the Student Ministry of Bedford Alliance Church for students in grades 7-12.
Our goal is to teach students to love God, love others, and make disciples. Students learn to love God during our Sunday morning gatherings at 11:00 am. Throughout the year, students are provided with opportunities to serve others and are encouraged to serve within the church. Students are also taught about our disciple-making system called D-Groups.
We want your students to graduate with a faith of their own that will sustain them for the rest of their lives!
