Happy Counselor’s Week! The Temple ISD Wildcat Mentors program is amazing, and I am honored to serve on the board and mentor students 💙 We couldn’t do what we do without the diligent work of the counselors!!
Today, we had the privilege of honoring the Temple ISD elementary counselors. Their ongoing support has been instrumental in the success of the Wildcat Mentor program throughout the year. 💙
We also want to acknowledge H.E.B. South 31st Street, Temple,Texas for donating the flowers!!
As we celebrate , it's crucial to shine a spotlight on individuals whose contributions have significantly impacted the field of public health. Over the next few weeks, we will highlight four extraordinary African Americans who have played pivotal roles in advancing healthcare, research, and public health initiatives. This week, we will be focusing on the unsung hero Henrietta Lacks, an African American woman whose cells were taken without her knowledge or consent in the 1950s. To learn more about her contributions to medical advancements visit our website ➡️ https://loom.ly/hVCj-go

Honoring the powerful legacy of Black history during this month of reflection and celebration (& always). As a Black woman running for office, I'm inspired by Harriet Tubman's wisdom: 'Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.' Let's dream big and create positive change in Bell Co. together.
The State of the Region was an excellent opportunity to learn and meet new people!! I soaked up every bit of the information Judge Blackburn shared about the County, and look forward to sharing the understanding I have with voters in the community. Thanks Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce for hosting this- as you can see from the picture, I was all ears!

I was recently featured in a news story highlighting the Point in Time Homelessness Count. Serving the community isn’t just a checkbox for me – it’s a long held commitment. We need leaders who are actively involved, tuned in, and dedicated to addressing the real needs of our community. Let’s prioritize electing leaders who work to understand and act. Your vote matters! 🗳️🤝 ”
Temple reports increase in homelessness in 2023 This year, Jan. 25 is the country’s only official count of people experiencing homelessness on a single day — it's called the Point In Time count.
Spur-of-the-moment stop at the Haute Dog stand parked at Impact Temple before hitting the gym🌭 They're serving up more than just delicious meals – they're giving back to the community with free eats. You also have the option to sponsor free meals! No politician attire today, just me in my gym gear supporting local goodness. Small acts, big impact! Let's spread the love. ❤️
Love to see it!!!

I am Committed to the fight against human trafficking in our community and beyond. Today, I stood alongside passionate individuals at the last “Blanket Bell Blue” event. Let's amplify our efforts and work together to create a safer Bell County for all. Thanks for the important work that you do, Aware Central Texas #
So humbled by today’s experience and glad that I was able to participate in the 2024 P.I.T Survey. . I learned a lot more about the community concern in Bell County- homelessness. As Commissioner, I would be committed to addressing this concern in ways that are fiscally responsible, creative, and effective, prioritizing the support of local organizations doing this work.
Sending thoughts and prayers to these two individuals, as well as the families affected by the other two incidents that occurred this past month. Also thankful to the Bell County Fire Marshal's Office for their hard work and dedication to our community

Let’s break down the breaking news on Texas choosing not to implement the summer EBT program, proven to reduce childhood hunger and diet quality. Also- what can be done at a county level as your County Commissioner to combat childhood hunger locally?
Open Tonight!!! So grateful that this exists in our community for those who need it. 🫶🏾

Bell County is full of people from all walks of life. People whose perspectives, values, and priorities are shaped by their life experiences.
Why should a select few, who are not representative of (or in touch with) our diverse community, be making all of the important decisions?
They shouldn’t. That’s why I am running for office, and why I’m committed to involving community members in the political process that shapes how our county is run.
Come meet me tomorrow at the First Friday Meet N' Greet and share your perspective with me.
I Hope to see y’all at the First Friday Meet N' Greet!! Myself and Jennifer 4 Texas will be at Cha Community *THIS FRIDAY* to meet you all and enjoy the best boba around.
