Y'ALL. I am BLOWN AWAY by the past few days. Opening day is officially on the books. This week has been a whirlwind and I want to thank everyone who bought treats or popped in just to say hi. Your support means so much 💖

The grand opening of 12 Points Public Market is tomorrow! Come out and support all the amazing vendors in the space!
I will be open tomorrow, Friday and Saturday from noon until 9 pm, with chocolate bars, muffins, fudge, mini cakes and dessert cups. I also have frozen cat treats!
I am sold out of cookies until Monday, and ice cream is in the works but I make great milkshakes!

What an AMAZING first night for 12PPM! Thank you to everyone who showed up, but an even bigger thank you to those who helped behind the scenes! I'll be hard at work to refill the dessert fridge before I open at noon on Thursday :)

Today is Black Cat's last market for the season! 💖

I've been working on practicing gratitude a lot lately. Even when things are stressful or I feel sad, I always try to recognize the good things I have and reframe 'I have to' statements into 'I get to's.
This past month has been an absolute blur- sourcing equipment, cleaning, painting, planning, stressing. Yesterday I was approved to open, and today I used the space for the first time. When I finished making chocolate bars and it was time for my least favorite part of baking (the dishes), I was happy to do them. Because today, I got to do dishes in my new retail space. I can't wait to share it with all of you. I hope you love it as much as I do.

Just to make everyone aware- some spam comments have appeared on some of my posts, advertising t shirts. I want to be clear: while it is something planned for the future, there are currently no shirts being made for Black Cat. When it becomes a reality, I will announce it.

A food hall is an community-based indoor market that offers a variety of dining options. They are typically cafeteria style and feature multiple local vendors. Food halls often include bars, activities, and live music.

So many fun updates for today! The sales counter has been cleaned top to bottom and is ready to be organized! The small stand is now painted and looks so dang cute I could cry. And lastly, the drink fridge is now in place! Seeing the space come together is amazing and I can't wait to see it all put together! 💖

Happy Monday! More improvements happening today as the sales counter got a pretty new facade and I started painting this stand! I'll post an updated photo when I finish it tomorrow :)

Busy day today! Finished painting the cabinet and the countertop. New drawer pulls are on the way, and I am planning to add some detailing to the cabinet and the sides of the counter. One day closer to opening!

Work continues on the space! Yesterday I salvaged this cabinet to add to the shop, and spent a LONG time cleaning her up. Look how pretty she is! Now that she's all nice and shiny, she's ready for paint, new drawer pulls and some detailing inside. Can't wait to show off the final results :)

Edible terrariums and root beer pie are in the cooler! Come grab a treat at farmers market and say hi!

I am always happy to deliver tasty treats to folks, but doing it on very short notice isn't fun for anyone. Having someone tell me they can get what they want cheaper from a big box store is rude, and they are absolutely welcome to do so especially if they don't wish to pay a rush fee.
When you support my small business, you're not just paying for cupcakes and frosting. You're paying for my time, my experience and my recipes that I've spent years developing. I do this by myself out of my home. I simply don't have the staff or capacity to keep things on hand right now.
