Danna Oxford and I (Stacey Stretcher) went to see Leon McKaskle tonight. Martin Multer was there as well. We talked a while and joked around a bit. He had just had a breathing treatment and they were hooking him up to more antibiotics and such. He was very tired and in pain...but still could squeeze my hand real tight.,,he says he still strong just not much stamena, gets out of breath doing anything. I know he would love to see his friend, so if ya'll can go by the hospital to see him I know he would appreciate it...just keep in mind he is in ICU, so ya'll can't be gettin all loud and rowdy...lol. He is in Baylor hospital in Carrollton ICU 5th floor room 4.

To all of our Pat's Pub family, I am sorry to say that Leon McKaskle is not doing well. He is in Baylor hospital in Carrollton in ICU 5th floor room 4.

Ok guys so yesterday they started working on tearing down the auto shop, and today it's gone and you can see straight in the bar. It was a sad sight when I just went to take these pictures. I don't know what the next step is but as soon as I find out I will let you guys know.

It is with a heavy heart that we must say "Goodbye, but we will never forget you" our dear friend James. He lived a long fruitful life and served our country with honor and we will miss you dearly. RIP my friend

A little update... so far we have gotten everything out and are pretty much at a stand still. They are gonna start the full demo on Sam's place this coming week I believe and they are also going to take our entire roof off and replace it and take our walls down to the studs and replace them too. Since everything has to be up to current code that means all of the electrical will be updated. They have to check the structural beam that is between us and Sam's wall to make sure it's safe. So far that's all I have for you all. Hopefully I will have more to tell you guys soon.... no estimated time frame yet either. Like I said as soon as I find out more I'll keep you posted! I want to say THANK YOU to everyone that came out today to help us clear out the bar. We couldn't have done it without all of you!

So here are some after pictures. As you can see its a big mess, but most of the damage is on 1 wall... the joining wall between us and Sam's place. Unfortunately Sam's place is a total loss :(

Just so everyone knows, the fire chief told dad and I that we only have smoke and water damage.... so there is hope! We haven't been in yet to assess the damage ourselves so I can't tell you exactly what needs to be done. I will do my best to keep you all informed as I find out. Thank you all for your support and much love!

Come hang out at Pat's with us and listen to some live music. They are only playing for an hour so we can still do karaoke later. The band is Hard Landing and they are local. They play all kids of music from Lit, Jet, Ramones, Pat Benatar, The Offspring and much more. So come out and check them out.
