Just remember, if those symptoms stick around for more than 72 hours, take your child to their pediatrician for further evaluation.

It’s true! While we see the most cases in the winter and early spring, kids can catch strep throat any time of year.

Here’s a few things parents should know, including key symptoms, how it’s treated and how to lower your child’s risk of catching it. 😷

P.S. If your children aren’t confident swimmers, now’s the perfect time to enroll them in lessons. Most kids learn after six weeks (with two lessons per week), so throughout summer break, they’ll become more comfortable in the water. 😊
