SO EXCITED for these super ULHS musicians who traveled to the Georgia Music Educators Association's District 11 Large Group Performance Evaluation on Friday, March 15, and showed just how SUPERIOR they are!!! They received the highest scores possible from ALL judges for an overall SUPERIOR rating!!! CONGRATULATIONS to the ULHS Symphonic Band, directed by Mr. Cameron Born! Way to go! These talented ULHS students were selected to participate in the Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA) District Honor Choir in Milledgeville on January 18-19. The choir was conducted by Dr. David Langley, Associate Professor of Music Education and Associate Director of Choral Activities at Georgia Southern University.
BIG congrats to Carrie Brown, Tripp Brown, Kami Cathcart, Alex Mackey, Ian McLane, Amberleigh Ramsey, Sarah Salter, Addi Smith, and Jaiyden Wheeler. The ULHS Chorus is directed by Mr. Jeremy Rooks.

CONGRATULATIONS to the cast and crew of the ULHS Theatre Department's One-Act Play!!! Public performances will be held on Thursday, Oct. 19, and Friday, Oct. 20, at 6:30 PM at the Upson-Lee Fine Arts Center. Students will be $5, adults $10, and small children free. We can't wait to see this!!! The GHSA One-Act competition is Tuesday, Oct. 24, at Monroe County Fine Arts Center. Break a leg, UL!!!

We hope everyone enjoyed TUAC's production of Disney's "Frozen Jr." this past weekend at the FAC!!! We love our partnership with TUAC and love hosting their children's summer theatre camp and end-of-camp productions each year! We want to give a BIG shout-out to TUAC's Executive Director Carmen Ducret Ellerbee!!! As you see in the photo, she waved her magic wand and our FAC costume closet is now SUPER organized!!! THANK YOU for sharing your talent for organization with the UL Fine Arts Center!!!
