We were beyond honored to have WWII Veteran, Jim Mather in attendance at our Veterans Day Breakfast & USO Show. Jim Mather is going strong💪🏽 at 100 years young! This WWII veteran was an F6F Hellcat Fighter Pilot. He was very popular with our teen volunteers! ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Do you need a safe way to dispose of the unused/expired medication you have at home? Drive by the Goebel Center and hand -off your medication to a Thousand Oaks Sheriffs Deputy or DEA Agent this Saturday, October 28 from 10am-2pm. You don’t even have to get out of your car. No hassle, No stress! No creams, liquids, inhalers or syringes please.

Goebel Adult Community Center went through major construction last year, and earlier this year we were able to celebrate the renovations in a grand re-opening event! Check out the video to see all the improvements and enhancements to the facility including an all-new fitness area, horseshoe pit remodel, large shade sails, updated ADA bathrooms, flooring, and more!

Our seniors enjoyed water exercise class at TOHS Pool this afternoon. The SUN☀️even joined in!!! Seniors 50+ join us from 12-1pm on M/W @ TOHS and T/Th @ NPHS for the next 8 weeks!

Seniors, Caregivers and Family Members are encouraged to attend the Living Well, Caring Well Workshop today at Goebel Center from 1-3pm. It’s a One-Stop Shop for people living with a dementia-related disease and their caregivers.

Some of these benefits include reduce fall risk and increase the ability to live independently, maintain strength and healthy joint and muscles, helps reduce or control blood pressure, ease symptoms of anxiety, reduces and prevents arthritis joint swelling and pain, and... our favorite... offers community and companionship for all!

From Capoeira, Yoga, Sound Healing Mediations, Strength-Stretch-and Sculpt classes, Cardio Jam, Tai Chi, to Chair-Based Strength and Balance, and more! The Goebel Center has a class for all!
