THE CROWNING OF MARY -
It was a day filled with faith and reverence as we gathered to honor the Crowning of Mary alongside residents, employees, and other attendees. We felt truly blessed by the presence of Reverend Slawomir Szkredka, auxiliary bishop of the Santa Barbara Pastoral Region, who presided over the ceremony. Together, we reflected, communed, and celebrated, cherishing each other's company. Following the ceremony, we continued our fellowship with a delightful lunch in the garden, complete with delicious tacos from our favorite vendor.

"Immaculate Mary, Thy praises we sing. Thou reign'st in splendor with Jesus our King. In heaven the Blessed Thy glory proclaim, On earth we Thy children invoke Thy sweet name. We pray for the Church, our true Mother on earth, And beg Thee to watch o'er the land of our birth."

The residents had a great time at the Mother's Day luncheon, complete with beautiful flowers, mouthwatering dishes, and heavenly desserts! We had an absolute blast, enjoying each other's company to the fullest!

Mary Health of the Sick is gearing up for its milestone 60th Anniversary Gala, and we need your help to make it an unforgettable evening! Set amidst the elegant backdrop of the North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village on Saturday, October 5, 2024, this event promises to be a celebration like no other.

We're seeking dedicated volunteers to lend a hand with various tasks to ensure the evening runs smoothly. From assisting with setup and directing guests to procuring items for our silent and live auctions, your support is invaluable.

Are you able to approach local businesses for donations or sponsorships? Can you assist with securing gift certificates/cards to enhance our auction offerings? Your contributions will directly impact the success of our event, which is expected to draw around 150-200 esteemed patrons, our Guest Speaker will be The Most Reverend Slawomir Szkredka, auxiliary bishop of the Santa Barbara Pastoral Region.
