This morning at Voice of the Prophets, Dan McCollam released a powerful prophetic encouragement to us. Dr. Randy Clark believes that Dan released an important word, and he wanted us to email out this message immediately.

God is calling us to prophetic maturity in this hour. God intends to reveal more to those that are willing to take responsibility to advance the kingdom. We can void our influence if we stay in a place of only receiving and never giving. We need to learn how to rightly discern the prophetic words we receive and then act upon those words.

Sometimes, we can unknowingly rely upon other anointed people and their maturity instead of developing our own. In the New Covenant, prophets were never intended to be mediators for the people of God; Jesus is our only mediator. We are called to be a prophetic company, and to do so, we must be equipped to walk in prophetic maturity.

The ultimate goal of prophecy is not to foretell the future but to reveal the nature and presence of Jesus Christ in our lives and in the lives of others. This focus shifts prophecy from mere prediction to transformation and empowerment through Christ.

URGENT APPEAL: We just learned that a dear friend of ours, a single mom with a 14-year old daughter and no child support from her ex, is experiencing a sudden financial crisis with the looming threat of eviction from her rented dwelling.

We need to raise $3,000 by Friday to prevent her from receiving a 3-day eviction notice. Details on her situation below...

DETAILS: The inciting event of her crisis is a tax lien from the California Franchise Tax Board she received last Thursday for a delinquent filing of her 2018 tax return.

Her father had prepared that return for her, as he had done for years, and she believed it had been filed. Her father became seriously ill in spring of 2019 with kidney failure, and was subsequently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and passed away two months later. The 2018 return was never filed, and our friend was not aware of this until she received the tax lien notice.

Her primary source of income has been garnished $10,000; this action will completely wipe out her income for March unless the tax advocate she has retained can negotiate a reduction.

To exacerbate matters, she just lost a $3,000 commission from a signed contract that was due to begin this week when the client unexpectedly backed out of the deal.

Our friend is also helping her brother recover from pharyngeal throat cancer; he beat the illness, but then lost his job and is paying for COBRA health insurance out-of-pocket, putting a severe strain on his family’s resources.

She has emerged through a remarkable recovery journey of her own; she suffered a brain injury in 2007 and, thanks be to God, prevailed through a 10-year recovery through surgery and much more, including a painful divorce.

I was really taken time and again the last few days with the phrase, “I will bless the Lord,” or “bless the Lord.” You read it over and over again in the Psalms.

I thought …how does one bless the Lord? So, I decided to look up the meaning. You see all of that under my musings.

At the end of it all…like a friend or parent, blessings are relational. If you gift something to a person that isn’t their preference or love language, you get a halfhearted thank you. But if you touch their heart, no matter how small or insignificant the gift/action, it will resonate and build the relationship.

That is what I am attempting to do this year in the Bible Immersion Journey—build a deeper relationship with the Godhead. I hope this blesses the readers and blesses God as we contemplate how to give God a blessing instead of just receiving a blessing!

God Watches Over His Word to Fulfill It...

The word of the Lord came to me, saying, “What do you see, Jeremiah?” And I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.” Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it.” – Jeremiah 1:11-12 NASB

The Hebrew word for almond, shaqed, shares a common root with shaqad, “to watch.” When Jeremiah saw the almond branch, God assured him that He is watching over His word to bring it to pass, no matter the passage of time.

In context, God had just given Jeremiah his prophetic assignment: “See, I have appointed you this day over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant.” (Jeremiah 1:10)

Last month, God sent two mourning doves to our front porch that laid 2 eggs, which is normal for that type of bird. I felt the Lord say something similar to me: “What do you see Jill?” I saw peace. Doves symbolize peace.

I felt the shelter of the hanging basket under our eaves was not a chance hatching place. I later learned that male and female doves look a lot alike, which is atypical in the bird kingdom. The male and female take turns sitting on the eggs, also atypical.

We watched the "change of shifts" one day. I saw co-laboring. Jesus loves to send us Holy Spirit to co-labor with us. He broods over us. We work together to birth the things He gives us to birth.

The two doves hatched only one egg; the other was likely infertile. That little dove only lived 24 hours...then the dove family left us.

Lessons I learned from heaven:

We must co-labor with God. We’ve had an unseasonably cool spring; perhaps that made it more difficult for the little ones to survive. Life in the wild isn’t easy. When we birth peace, or birth a call of God, it takes a community to keep things alive. Isolating isn’t an option.

This is the season of resurrection life. Jesus came, preached three years, was betrayed, scourged, hung on a cross, died, and went into Hades to get the keys of death and hell. If we’re to walk in peace, we must join the resurrected Christ and be seated with Him in heavenly places.

Walking in peace must be intentional. We at Awakened To Life have been trained to partner with heaven to release His Shalom on the earth. Life can have challenges; partnership with Jesus is the way into the abundant life He came to give us.

Our Savior commands us to heal the sick, cast out demons, raise the dead, and disciple nations. He is watching over His word to see it fulfilled!

Just like seeing this blue heron in downtown Austin...tonight miracles happened because Jesus loves people through people. Tintinitus was overcome in increments but total healing happened in the name of Jesus! Healing inside of family disfunction happened. Courage to remain in a huge battle was sustained, overcoming generational issues was dismantled. We are few but we are mighty. And mindsets that were struck down and disfunction melted in the face of the powerful words of scripture. His word is living and active. OH WHAT A NIGHT. We had 8 openings ... 6 courageous people drove to our center in-person and the Healer..Jesus showed up and showed off!!! I love my life ...
