I’ve struggled with this for years.
The further I climb in my professional career, the worse feel.
I tried to find purpose in the work that I’m doing, to find some type of gratification or soul purpose.
What I’m finding instead is that my natural gifts are not being nurtured and I’m living up to someone else’s standard of excellence.
I’m in misalignment of what my true purpose on this earth is, and at the core of my very being, I understand why.
The misalignment happens when I look at the pay rate of a position, or the description of a role and tell myself… “I can do that,” instead of asking myself, “should I do that?”
At the end of the day, I just want to wake up doing the very thing that brings me joy and I can end my day, knowing I love what I do.

Each day I wake up so thankful for doing the very thing that scared the HELL out of me. I moved away from my safety net, family, and friends to pursue new things and brighter opportunities. Although I haven’t quite landed where I want professionally (every day feels like a struggle 😔), I haven’t given up the fight to do what I love ❤️ I will get there sooner than I expect. I can’t allow fear, uncertainty, insecurity or disappointment stop 🛑 me. So…. Whatever it is for YOU, don’t let it stop you!
