Announcing a November Beginners Workshop at Pilates, Etc! CORE PILATES is a workshop that will be held twice: November 1 and 4. It will cover the foundations of Pilates as well as the reformer, resistance work, breathing -- all concentrating on legs, hips, trunk/spine and shoulders. Cost is $45/workshop or take both for $80. Dear Friends, Clients and Friends of Clients,
In May of 2020, when we were in the midst of the Covid Crisis, I took out a PPP Loan, as part of the SBA (Small Business Association) funding provided to help small businesses make it through the pandemic. It was the peak of the crisis and I was granted it without question.
Recently, after spending hundreds of hours and two attempts to secure forgiveness of the loan, I was denied, and am now responsible to pay it all back. Supposedly, if you made less than $150,000/year, you would be forgiven without question. And while I qualify, they basically said I should not have gotten one in the first place and are now asking me to be the recipient of their errors and oversight and to pay back the loan in full.
Every other small business that I know of was forgiven, but they all did their loans with small local banks. I did mine through a larger local bank, and the big banks have been tough.
And so, I decided to stop fighting and move forward, when I came across the GoFund Me webpage and went for it. I need alot of money to pay back this loan, and every penny will help. Recent progress at the studio!

Pilates, Etc. is on vacation from Saturday, August 25-Sunday, September 9. Classes will resume Monday, September 10. Messages can be left at [email protected] or at 603-998-3516.
