Many of our guests have had the opportunity to see Sea Turtles at nearby Playalinda Beach! We hope you will have that experience as well!!

Sea Turtle Nesting Season is still in full swing!

If you see hatchlings on your Space Coast beach day, make sure to admire them from afar. These little guys have a long journey ahead of them and need all the space they can get. Please pack out all your trash and beach gear, knock down your sand castles, and fill in your holes before you leave for the day. The next generation of sea turtles will thank you!

There are TWO upcoming rocket launches from Port Canaveral that will be visible from the Casa Coquina! 😍🚀🛰️

A Falcon 9 Starlink will be launched Friday morning 8/9 around 8am (times subject to change). Another Falcon 9 Starlink will launch Saturday 8/10 around 7:15am (times also subject to change).

Come stay at the Casa to see the launch in person!! We do have a small number of vacancies so first come first serve! The launches can also be watched virtually through SpaceX or through SpaceLaunchSchedule.com. We are not responsible for any delays in launch times but the websites above will post any updates regarding delays or cancellations. “The SpaceX is now targeting 7:00 p.m. for liftoff. The visitor complex will remain open for the attempt. If the launch has not occurred by 7:00 p.m. the viewing area will close due to the window extending beyond visitor complex operating hours”

Looks like lift off is in 45 min!

Launch Alert🌟🚀💫

Though SpaceX has yet to announce this mission, the Federal Aviation Administration and Space Coast Office of Tourism now report the Türksat 6A satellite will launch Monday afternoon — though the target date has bounced around the past couple days.

Mission: A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will deploy Turkey’s first domestically manufactured geostationary communications satellite.

Launch: 5:20 p.m. EDT Monday, July 8, 2024

Location: Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station

Trajectory: Due east
