What fills your cup?
It can be easy to overcommit to things, say yes to new projects or responsibilities, and take on too much. We pour all of our energy into these tasks, but what happens when our cup is empty? Burnout, exhaustion, and overwhelm take over.
It’s important to do things that fill our cups so we can keep saying yes to growth, to new experiences, and to our ordinary tasks. Taking care of yourself is PRODUCTIVE! So take the rest, eat the meal, move your body, and fill your cup🫶🏻

We asked Alex about her experience at RAD, and this is what she had to say😊👇🏻
Why did you choose RAD as your fitness home?
“Well I fell into it I guess, but why I stay is because it’s a really great place. There’s so much outside of just being a gym, there’s a great sense of community, friendship and support. I think it’s so wonderful to be able to walk into a gym and feel no judgment at all.”
What has been your experience and progress at RAD?
“I like that there are so many types of classes so I can change my schedule and never get bored. Most recently I’ve been taking as many spin classes as I can because it continues to challenge me and I feel a sense of accomplishment with every class.”
What are you most proud of from your time at RAD?
“I’m most proud of the confidence I’ve gained it has helped me challenge myself in different aspects of my life, and of course my newly found spin skills.”

✨ What is your favorite thing about RAD?
“My favorite thing about RAD is how welcoming the community is. No matter what your skill level is or what type of attitude you wake up with on any given day, you can walk into RAD and be met with smiling faces and positive attitudes :)”
✨ What is your day job?
“Currently, I am a full-time student at Roger Williams University School of Law, so I spend a lot of my time reading and studying!”
✨ What are some of your hobbies?
“When I’m not studying, I enjoy reading books, watching documentaries, and playing with my two dogs!”
✨ What is a fun fact about you?
“A fun fact about me is that I went to Iceland in March 2023 as part of a school trip. While I was there, I hiked up a glacier, learned about geothermal energy, and swam in the Blue Lagoon!”

Join us for our annual RAD Team Challenge! Teaming up with other members to crush classes and create relationships!
- Sign up at the front desk or email [email protected] to be placed on a team. Sign ups open until Friday, November 10th
- Teams are chosen randomly and will be announced on Saturday, November 11th
- Challenge begins Monday, November 13th and ends on Monday, November 27th.
- Teammates work together to rack up points through classes and bonus challenges. The team who earns the most points will win custom RAD swag😎

I absolutely love nature/the outdoors. You can find me on an adventure, hiking, or biking.🏔️ Also, I love spending lots of time with my kitties!😻

Meet Rania Carvalho! Rania is one hard working mamma, in and out of the gym. No matter what is going on in her busy life she always prioritizes her physical and mental health. Whether it’s after a long day of work at the hospital, or a long trip from moving her kids into college, Rania shows up and pushes herself harder every time. We are so proud of her commitment to herself and to our community!
We asked Rania about her experience at RAD and of course got a little teary eyed with what she had to say🥹🫶🏻
Why did you choose RAD as your fitness home?
“I chose RAD because the staff and other members very quickly became a big part of my life. Every time that I go I feel like part of a family. You are all so encouraging and welcoming!”
What has been your experience and progress at RAD?
“My experience is that my stress is well controlled and I ALWAYS feel better after I get there. No matter what is going on in my life with work or home I always feel like I get some time to just ‘leave it on the floor’ and work hard on myself”
What are you most proud of from your time at RAD?
“I’m most proud that I hold myself accountable and continue to show up for myself and my gym family ❤️. I’d like to thank you so very much for the recognition and I’m so grateful for the friends I’ve made. Lastly, yes Jenni you’re right ‘everyday above ground is a good damn day’ ❤️”
