We love orders! Here are some notes for your future planning.

Defiance customers: As we mentioned to some of you, our plan is to attend more Toledo markets than Defiance this summer. However, we will continue to offer Defiance pre-order on all market weeks, with pickup on Sunday afternoons. Placing an order on market weeks allows me to accommodate a larger variety of items in smaller quantities, in case you only want a couple things. And we promise, we are happy to make the drive down and enjoy the extra opportunity to visit with our families and friends, so please do not be shy about making an order if you're craving a treat 🙂

To all customers, both Toledo and Defiance area: We are always happy to discuss special orders for your events and gatherings! On non-market weeks, I may need to ask for a minimum order of some items, but these requirements will vary by item and I will be happy to talk through those options with you. I do also offer smaller sizes of our cookies and cinnamon rolls, which can be great for a dessert platter.

I am grateful to everyone who has trusted me to provide baked goods for their gatherings, and I hope that I will have the opportunity to contribute to more in the coming months! As always, thank you for your support in making my baking dreams come true!

Good morning, Toledo! We are back at the Toledo Farmers Market with our lavender table and ready to kick off this summer market season! Come grab a treat and spend this beautiful morning with us!

Since this will be the first time our cookies have appeared at the Toledo Summer Farmers Market, I thought it would be a good time to introduce you to our Classic Chocolate Chip Cookie!

This cookie is the product of a full year of testing and tinkering with ingredients! It's inspired by New York City's Levain Bakery's extra-thick cookie, with the added mission of packing as much flavor as possible into the dough! To find that perfect flavor, I tried different sugars, butters, extracts, and other secret ingredients, and eventually I found the right combination. I think the most innovative method I tried was toasting white sugar before adding it to the dough! It added a faint taste of roasted marshmallows, but ultimately didn't make the cut.
If you ask me right now, this might be my favorite item on the table. (But don't tell the other treats! 🤫) I hope you all get a chance to try it soon!

Happy Monday, friends! I hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend! I had the joy of making the Cinnamon Rolls for my home church's Easter breakfast yesterday! I was so excited to receive this order and enjoyed the challenge of making 12 dozen mini cinnamon rolls. There's nothing better than sharing my favorite Easter baking tradition with lots of people! ☺️

It's Pastel, Tiny Edition at the today! We've got all the treats in a compact space, so make sure you stop by our lavender table! 😀

We are back at the Toledo Farmers Market tomorrow morning from 9 am-1 pm, and one of my favorites is making its Toledo debut - Brown Sugar Cookies!

I love them because they remind me of Butterscotch Cookies that my Mom used to make for my Dad's morning breaktime snack. I only ate the chewy dough, Dad insisted on them being baked to crispy so he could dunk them in his coffee - and poor Mom was just trying to keep up with our different preferences! 😂

Now that I'M in charge of the baking, you'll find that these Brown Sugar Cookies are nice and chewy, just as cookies should be 😉 If your favorite part of a chocolate chip cookie is the cookie parts around the chocolate, I think you'll love this one!

This very cool zero-waste refill shop in downtown Toledo is celebrating its first anniversary on April 20, and there will be Pastel biscuits available for purchase! Happy Sunday, friends! A couple announcements: I am opening up a little pre-order for Pumpkin Dinner Rolls with pickup next weekend, March 23/24! I know pumpkin isn't the traditional Easter flavor profile, but I also think I convinced a few of you just how good these rolls are last fall, so maybe you'd like some for Easter 😉 They freeze very well and come with thawing instructions so you can check the dinner rolls off your to-do list a week early!

Which brings me to my second announcement - we will be at the Toledo Farmers Market next Saturday, March 23 with our full table of treats! Toledo pickups will take place at the Market and Defiance pickups will be at the Behrman home on Sunday, March 24 from 4-5 pm.
