BUCK69 – “The Story Behind the Songs”
T-Town
I wrote this song based on my son Alexander John Clawson and I when we first started going downtown to Toledo playing as an acoustic duo “Acoustic X” back in 2002. So, it made perfect sense to be the first song on the first CD “When She Whispers Your Name”. The studio version features Alex Clawson on Lead guitar, BJ Love on Keyboards, Todd Oval on Bass, Dave Alan on Drums and me on vocals.
I wrote the song in basic blues format key of Dm. Alex came up with the intro to kick in the song and does the lead playing on a PRS guitar through a stack amp special made that we got from Peelers like in 2004 with a Cry Baby Wah Wah pedal.
