Wicked Awesome Wishes and the Lady Jane’s team were honored to meet Lisa and her two daughters Maddie and Lily last week at our headquarters in Birmingham MI.

In the fall of 2023, Lisa’s husband, Scott, passed away due to complications with his heart. This left the trio of girls heartbroken and Lisa struggling to balance being a mom with providing for the family.

On Friday, May 10th, we invited the family to the office where they were able to explore the Woodward Sports Studio and even meet with Ryan Ermanni, who is a fan favorite of Lisa’s. Here, we were able to surprise them with behind-the-plate tickets to the game, as well as some spending money for goodies at the game! ⚾️ 🐯

We are so happy that we could give this special family an experience they normally could not afford. WAW looks forward to helping this amazing family more in the near future! 💖

On September 24th 2023, Gracelyn’s parents, Benjamin and Emily Hutt, noticed a lump on Gracelyn’s abdomen and had a doctor appointment to follow up with her pediatrician.

After determining that there was no emergency as they waited for the appointment to get in with the ultrasound tech, Gracelyn fell very ill. After rushing Gracelyn to the hospital and having many labs completed, it was determined the very next day that Gracelyn had a tumor that had ruptured which was surgically removed.

Gracelyn, who was not even two at the time, was later diagnosed with an extremely rare cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma. She is currently fighting for her life as she is undergoing chemotherapy and radiation.

With Benjamin & Emily spending many days in the car going to different appointments for Gracelyn, they are also raising their son Caleb. Wicked Awesome Wishes and Lady Jane’s Haircuts For Men were honored to team up by surprising the family with a brand new car and spending the afternoon getting to know the brave little girl, Gracelyn, and her family.

Wicked Awesome Wishes and Lady Jane’s were honored to help Ben and his parents attend a game on 4/13/24. 🏀

Ben has Autism, OCD, and a seizure disorder. He loves the Miami Heat and has always asked his parents to take him to a game. They were concerned that he wouldn’t be able to handle it but wanted to try since he is such a huge fan.

Wicked Awesome Wishes and Lady Jane’s sent Ben and his parents to the game, which they normally could not afford. Ben had the time of his life and his parents were so grateful!

Day 2 of the managers retreat was a success! Breakfast on the beach was followed by an opportunity for the managers to meet with their regionals & director to have discussions and prepare for the new year! Lastly, we ended our time together with our ‘Sunset Party’ 🌅🪩💃🏼
