Thank you to everyone who has given my family and I the privacy and time needed to work towards "health". Unfortunately my diagnosis and continued ailments are not going to allow me to recover enough to continue the art pantry in the way it was intended.

It is my dream to see it continue and grow as it was an amazing resource for so many! I loved meeting you all and I am so very thankful for all that this community has done to make the year we were able to do this, a success!

Once I am able to find a location/organization to take on the art pantry I will share details of who/where/what and all supplies will be transferred. Thank you for your patience and prayers.

I have help putting the Christmas card kits together as my last art pantry kits for 2023. 💌 they will be Announced for November pickup. Please keep posting on previous thread for interest.

I will continue to have little craft videos and little bags as we go! I hope to be back in gear with the pantry in January for monthly kits after this holiday break. Some much needed rest will help 💜

The medical system has failed me to this point and I am seeing a small window of hope and just praying it is leading to good things. We shall see.

All item donations should also be halted for the remainder of the year as well. 💜 I am truly sorry to take this pause. And I will do my best to hurry back.

💙💙Art pantry family and friends. Thank you for your patience this year. I know I've had to cancel and reschedule a couple of weekends and you have all been very gracious. If it weren't for the secret team of volunteers and my partner-in-Art, Alex, I would not have been able to keep up, especially after I worsened in August.
ART IS HEALING.
I will continue our mission and do my very best to keep the art pantry alive and going as always. Our volunteers and Alex have been essential to its survival so far. The community has always kept it well stocked with items for the families (and sometimes more!!) This has been a blessing and the community has continued to be so kind and understanding. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you. I appreciate the grace you've shown while I've been fighting my own battles.

Please continue to keep donations in smaller portioned bags, or just schedule to help me put them into the pantry together! 💜 Together we can keep this amazing resource going. Despite my rapid pulse, art can thankfully be done off of my feet 😆🙃❤️

"I'll be taking the weekend off from social media to work on my to-do list. So before we get ready for one of my favorite months of the year, I'm sharing a new reason to bookmark and notice October!
The mission for me begins.
I will be fighting one heck of a journey to Advocate, Educate and Share!

But first there is a whole lot of healing to be done.
As some of you may have noticed, I've been sick to various degrees for the better part of two years. Well, secondarily due to POTS. We have not gotten down to the bottom of what has caused it yet. There is more to be done. But for now, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome is quite the hill to climb on its own.

For those who have questions, please ask. I'm happy to chat and discuss. I have minimal energy, and most/all days are a huge struggle at this point. I won't lie, the amount of energy it takes from me is making daily life nearly impossible. So hopefully with the new medical team and pending appointments in a few weeks there can be some improvement. As of right now, it's just what it is. I am doing my best to utilize the best research and programs available to help with tips and tricks to alleviate symptoms in the meantime and attempt to slow the weightloss down.

After two years of misdiagnosis/no diagnosis and ignored symptoms I finally had a compassionate doctor who listened. It wasn't even her field of practice. But thankfully, she had a kind soul, and listened when all others had not. Now I am on the path to treatment and proper care. Now I can head towards healing. 💜

It is not life threatening. It is exhausting. It is debilitating. It is not easy to navigate. It is invisible. It is hard to understand. It is frustrating. It is incredibly humbling. But I am working on wrapping my head around balance and bettering myself so it impacts my world, and those who have supported me, far less. One day at a time. This, is by far, the hardest thing I've ever faced.

These are some of the things we've been able to help do! We will always continue to help all special needs groups and children through art. I sponsored the tourette organization art supplies through sales from my art, but many of the remaining supplies will be added to the art pantry to continue to benefit our community! Thank you for all that you do to support this dream. We are making a difference in so many lives.

I am always hesitant to post this. As I've rarely shared the link.
I have never collected funds for the art pantry and refuse to do so. This is community gathered art supplies and redistributed. I will continue to do it as such.

The Amazon wish list has been requested several times and I ONLY compile it for those who PREFER IT for ease and convenience.

There are less expensive, and economical options. Even for identical products.
Also consider options such as printing out coloring pages, checking local free sites, asking local resources and friends or looking around your own homes for items you no longer have need for.

I do not ever ask, nor expect anyone to come out of pocket, or try to push for this to be anything more than a wonderful bonus for the community. It has become such an AMAZING thing. I am over the moon that it has become as luxurious and spoiled as it has!!! But that being said, it is not a NEED. So... this is here for those who desire to use it and bless the pantry, but our mission has not wandered away from its original purpose and ideals 💜 we are still the happy art corner of making do with the best of what we have and finding ways to inspire and create.

If we can't use our imaginations to make art out of the things around us... we are missing the beauty of it all! 💜
