Little Free Pantry in the Village
The mini pantry movement is a grassroots, crowdsourced solution to immediate and local need. Whether
The pantry has been serving our community multiple times each day. It’s always hard to keep up with the need in our community and we greatly appreciate everyone who helps to stock the pantry. Your donations of unexpired, non-perishable foods and toiletries are always needed and appreciated. Thank you!
We had an extremely generous donation from a very special 7 year old today who wanted to help feed her neighbors. For the first time in months, we even have overflow for days that the pantry is running low. We are VERY thankful for today’s donation!
Any items that are fresh (produce, bread) are thrown out. The pantry can only accept non-perishable items.
Thank you to everyone who has generously filled the pantry the last couple of weeks.
Please remember that we do not accept:
Anything opened or previously used
Anything expired
Hand sanitizer
Any item that is all of the above!
Thank you to whomever restocked our pantry yesterday. It was empty when I left and when I got home, we had received some restocking. Like a little Pantry Fairy! Thank you!
As always, we could really use more donations! We are very low on everything and your neighbors will greatly appreciate it.
Kenmore Farmer's Market will be hosting a special event tomorrow at the Village Green. We will be collections donations for the Little Free Pantries in Kenmore! Look for our tent and be sure to bring a non-perishable donation for your local pantry!
Our pantry is fully stocked!!! It’s been a long time since we have been this full, but one of our pantry stewards placed a VERY generous grocery order for us today!
The pantry is currently empty and we have nothing left in our reserves either. Any donations (following all guidelines) would be greatly appreciated! If you’d like to donate $ and allow me to shop, please send a message.
BIG thank you to those who stock the pantry and keep our overflow items stocked. Please remember that everything must be unopened, no perishable, and in the original packaging.
Opened, perishable items like this are not to be placed in the pantry. Gross.
Thanks to some wonderful community members, our pantry and our overflow are starting to fill up again!
This is it. This is all we have left to stock the pantry with. Food and toiletry donations would be greatly appreciated. If you’d prefer to give a monetary donation, please PM me.
Our pantry is in desperate need of donations of non-perishable food and toiletries. Please remember that all items should be factory sealed and not expired. Thank you!
Please note that all children in the Ken-Ton School District are able to take advantage of a free summer lunch program offered by the Niagara County Youth Bureau at two locations in the Town of Tonawanda: Sheridan Parkside and Lincoln Park. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday, free lunch is available for any children age 18 and under at the Sheridan Parkside Center (169 Sheridan Parkside Drive) next to the Spray Park, and at Lincoln Park next to the Youth, Parks & Recreation offices (299 Decatur Road).
No paperwork, identification, or registration is required. Children must be present to receive a lunch. Children may eat on site or bring their meal home with them. The Summer Food Service Program is a federally-funded program that provides free meals to all children at approved SFSP sites. It is being administered by the Niagara County Youth Bureau with sites throughout the Northtowns. For more information, click here:

I don’t know who Jaydon is, but his basketball is in the pantry.
Gentle reminder: the pantry is for food only.
Thank you thank you thank you to Sarah for stocking our pantry today! It was greatly needed and tremendously appreciated!
The pantry isn’t a place to put your opened and expired snacks you decided you didn’t like. Yes, this really happened this week.
Anything placed in the pantry needs to be unopened and within date!
Thank you to whomever left the three bags of groceries at the pantry! There is an overflow bin at the side of the house for anything that doesn’t fit in the pantry, this way your donations are kept safe from weather and critters.
All bags have been picked up but there’s still plenty of food in the pantry.
Thanksgiving dinner bags are available! They are in the overflow tote at my side door. Please help yourself! I will replenish throughout the week.
Just a reminder that Little Free Pantries are not a place to drop off expired items from your pantry. Expired foods will be thrown out and cause more work for you and me! Thank you to those who follow the rules and to whomever left the hygiene packs in my overflow tote!
Advice on what to give during holiday food drives, from someone who used to be on the receiving end When I was in middle school and high school, my mother and I needed food donations
Our permanent pantry is up and running! Many thanks to those who contributed financially and to our builder!
Just seven more days to donate your empty cans and bottles @ Xtra Dime Back to help build our permanent pantry!
We are so close to having the funds to build this...all we need is 3,000 more cans/bottles!
Thank you for your support!
For the month of August, drop off your cans and bottles at Xtra Dime Back (1041 Englewood) and request they benefit KenTon’s Little Free Food Pantry. All monies collected this month will go towards the building cost of our permanent pantry!
Let’s try this again…
The pantry has received an outpouring of support this week! We should be back in service tomorrow! Please remember that donations that are expired are not able to be used in the pantry. If you are interested in contributing a monetary donation toward the building of a permanent pantry, please send me a message. We are 1/3 of the way to our goal!
The Pantry is temporarily out of service. Unfortunately the entire pantry (all contents and the bin) was taken over the weekend. We are looking for someone to make a permanent pantry for us, but the tote bin will be out again later this week. Thank you.
The pantry was wiped clean over the weekend! Donations would be greatly appreciated to keep the pantry running! You can either put items in the tote, or leave in the overflow bin by my side door/mailbox. Thank you!
Summer is coming and with the kids home from school, we expect an increase of turnover in the pantry. We will gladly accept any unopened, non-expired, non-perishable food and toiletry donations! Donations can be left by the side door of the house.
Thank you!
Thank you SO much to everyone who very generously helped restock the pantry over the weekend! If you ever wish to donate and the pantry is full, there is an overflow bin at the side of the house. Thank you again!
We are running very low on food and personal care items! Any non-perishable, non-expired items would be greatly appreciated!
