Friday was a memorable day, made possible through the efforts and . Thanks to their support, we were able to showcase new artwork at the hospital, pieces I created while on bed rest there. It was truly amazing to mark this day with my son Casey in my arms, one year later.

In our busy lives, it’s crucial to pause and embrace moments of solace and renewal amidst the chaos. Art has a profound impact on the spirit, providing a haven for relaxation and a channel for self-expression.

Yesterday was a special day - exactly one year ago, I was in the hospital on bed rest for a little over a month awaiting the delivery of my son. During that time, I turned to drawing as a creative outlet. Now, thanks to a donation from the team at Trusted Nurse Staffing and the Foundation at the Sister Hospital, we are filling the entire mother-baby unit with two pieces of art that I created during my hospital stay. It's truly a full-circle moment, and it feels amazing to give back to the incredible hospital staff who took care of me/Casey and to contribute to the experience of future patients. A big thanks to Lai Lando of CH7 for covering my story!

'They say that art has the power to heal': WNY artist's generous donation to Sisters Hospital Caitlin Krumm has donated thousands of dollars worth of her artwork to grace the walls of the hospital to offer other families a source of comfort.
