I’d like to wish my Dad a happy heavenly birthday today ( and a very happy Father’s Day tomorrow).
I, as a little boy , use to wonder how my dad could possibly provide such a wonderful life for his wife and 5 children with ONE little hot dog stand at the foot of Sheridan Park in Tonawanda .
From spending 2 weeks in Miami Beach at Christmas time every year .. to our beautiful
Home and swimming pool , to my Mom’s fancy cars … to our delicious meals every night .. to all the toys a kid could ever want .
As time went on .. I began to figure it out .
He woke at the crack of dawn every morning, put his apron on and rushed to work , and didn’t return home until very late .
I quickly realized THATS IT !!! He works his tail off everyday and every night to make sure his family had the very best of everything !!!
What an amazing man ,husband , father , son , brother , grandfather , uncle , mentor , best friend .
You made so many people happy through your hard work and creative business mind .
The world will never forget you .. so please rest in peace until we meet again in a much better place and time .

It is with mixed emotions … those of sadness, joy, thankfulness , love , appreciation , and accomplishment that I would like to THANK our wonderful customers and friends of not only WNY but throughout the country / world for supporting our family business for over 70 plus years !
A few years back I announced my retirement after working side by side with my family for almost 50 years .
After much thought , I have decided to sell the building and property that housed our family business since 1951 .
At the time of my ( and my sister Debbie’s ) retirement , I sincerely thanked our loyal customers for the love and support they gave us throughout the years .
I feel in my heart it is worth saying it again .
A sincere , heartfelt thank you from my dad ( Louis Turco ) my mom ( Josephine Turco ) , my brothers ( Louis and George Turco ) my sisters (Debbie and Maureen Turco ) and our many cousins and staff members throughout the years that made our company and brand name a success and landmark in the Tonawanda’s and beyond .
Thank you WNY , it has been our pleasure serving you all these wonderful years !
We could have never taken this truly remarkable journey without you !!
We love you … and hopefully when you hear the name Louie’s Footlong Hot Dogs in the future , it brings a Big smile to your face , a tantalizing tickle to your taste buds , and warm feeling in your heart ♥️

We had a very special surprise visit from one of our favorite customers earlier today .
10 year old Simon Armstrong has been working on more drawings of his favorite restaurant and his all time favorite restauranteur Louis Turco 😊.
We are so humbled Simon . It’s so nice to be loved and recognized by someone as special , gifted, and talented as you !
It is an honor to have you part of our Louie’s family !
We love your drawings and will proudly have them on display throughout the restaurant as soon as we have them laminated .

Originator of the Footlong Hot Dog in 1951 , we’ll be bringing back all your favorites .
From our charcoal broiled Footlong Hot Dogs , fresh cut curly Q and straight cut fries , fresh Italian Sausage , steak and dandelions , and ofcourse our signature Loganberry Ice Tea .
Our early springtime hours are Monday - Saturday
11am - 8pm .
As we continue to properly staff our store , we will also , in the future , be open on Sundays as well .
