We’re so excited to introduce you to the newest addition to the hair lounge! Meet Marisa! She’s our new co-stylist and we can’t wait for you to meet her!

She is already making incredible progress through our training + shadow days! She comes with a year’s worth of experience under her belt and is actively growing and learning each day she’s here with us!

We are so excited that she’ll be bringing back our coveted The Blowout service soon and will be taking models in the upcoming weeks as we train her on all of our signature color services!

Last week passed her state board exam and went from her temporary cosmetology license to fully licensed!

We are so proud of her for this amazing accomplishment and made sure to celebrate this huge win with some of her favorite things!

One of our core values is SIMPLICITY so this year we renamed our services in order to make it less complicated for you!

The Full Signature is ideal for:

first time guests

or

existing guests that have maintaining with either The Gloss or The Mini OR haven’t been in to see us in 6-12 months

The Full Signature covers a variety of our looks! It includes lightening or adding depth throughout the whole head for a cohesive look to help you look your best!

This service allows us to adapt our techniques based on what your end goals are so you don’t have to worry about knowing if you need a “full head of highlights, balayage, dimensional color work, etc.”

Have you ever noticed we don’t show our guests faces on our page? While most business professionals would say its better to show faces, there’s a reason behind why we choose not to.

We believe that your appointment is your time for you! Which means you can come however YOU feel comfortable aka you can come dressed in sweats with no makeup on! While we love seeing your smiling face at the end of a great hair appointment we also value your autonomy too!

It all began with the commitment to open the hair lounge first and when owner Stephanie was on vacation with family in Aruba. Here’s the full story:

From the conception of the hair lounge everything has been intentional decisions. When thinking of a name, I kept going back to things that were inspired by nature, and kept being drawn back to the word sage.

As I took more time to think about the meaning behind it sage is typically associated with clearing energy, providing a fresh start, or clean slate and thats exactly what I wanted and thought of when I decided to go out on my own.

Knowing I didn’t want it to be just one word, I though what pairs well that also had something that could be meaningful and intentional. Enter the word: stone, when I thought of stone it made me think of stability, and how its truly the foundation of all things. The building block of my own hair oasis and “home” to do what I love most.

I debated for awhile about what I was going to identify as, since I was starting in a suite at that time, I knew right away I didn’t want to box in future growth by calling it that. Using studio felt the same to me, too many limits. Calling it a salon at that time made me feel like a fraud and then when looking at my inspiration boards and for what I wanted each person to feel I thought Hair Lounge! A place where each guest can use it as their own oasis, to relax and recharge, or chat it up like you would with a good friend!

Sage + Stone Hair Lounge in its short conception has evolved so much as a brand, idea, and lifestyle. I couldn’t be prouder of where its come and what the future possibilities will be!
