Hi, my name is Fergus or sometimes referred to as Ferguson. I am about 12 years old and for the last 11 years, I lived in a loving home with my Mama. Unfortunately, she got sick and passed away a couple of weeks ago and no one in her family could take me in.

I get along with other cats and dogs just fine. I did have a dog sister for a while growing up. I tend to let the other dog I am with take the lead. I am not looking to be the alpha dog in any home. I really am unbothered and just ignore other animals. I also get along with kids and people as well, I prefer just a pat on the head or back here and there, I am not much of a cuddler. I tend to just lay on the floor and sleep next to whoever I am with and follow them around the house when they get up. I don't even jump on furniture or beds.

I am house trained, and am doing well in my fosters home. My ears and hips don't work as well as they used to either. Overall, I am a happy, healthy guy who is looking to spend the rest of my glory days with a kind companion.

So if you're looking for a lazy, quiet and low maintenance dog to keep you company for the next few years- I am your guy!

Hey guys, how would anyone like to help me help the Genesis center collect some turkeys and help bring hope and a blessing to many homless or aloneness people Thanks giving!!! They will be serving on Wednesday dinner and on Thanksgiving afternoon but are in need of turkeys!! I also say maybe deserts as well!! Some are donated by local bakeries in the area however I don't think they are fresh.

Hi, This little guy in need of a home. I am trying to help. He is very smart and really needs a job to keep home! A past adopter had messages me in hopes to help her friend help this little guy.

He is still a puppy only 10 months old.. so he is still very puppy like with a mix of Boarder Collie and Australian shepherd... haha very bouncy!!!

More info will follow as we find out more. A FOSTER home would be great however he is high energy. He would need a dedicated foster willing to keep him busy.

This cat appeared at my mom's house in Marilla. No collar and seems very friendly. We struck up a relationship rather quickly and I wasn't attacked!!! Seems to enjoy chicken pulled off of plain Chicken wings from Carbone's in Alden!!!!

It's been going to my mom's door and well causing issues with her 4 cats and 2 dogs!!! Poor kitty wants to come in side. But until seen my a vet it cannot. It HAS TO BELONG TO SOMEONE NEAR BY!!! Looking to see if we can help this dog in anyway! Right now he is with the Amity dog control officer but needs a place by Friday if she cannot find a place for him. His owner is refusing to get him. But The dog Warden said he is sweet as can be and is housebroken. She has no idea however how is it's with cats since she does not have any!! Any ideas would be appreciated!! My name is LLoyd and me and my brother Harry were found along an interstate highway getting into trouble for playing in the median and rolling around. We are chocolate lab youngsters at about 1 1/2 year old and we are just a hoot!!! Never a dull moment with us around. We LOVE people...so much so that we both will jump up to give you a big old hug! We don't know much as far as manners go, but we are quick learners. We love to play with toys and you should see us play tug of war with each other. Our coats are a very rich brown color with black and soooo soft to the touch and we both have very light brown eyes....we are quite handsome!!! We are the dynamic duo and full of entertainment for the whole family....you don't need to have a TV if you have us at your house!!!! We are 70lb puppies and we don't know very much....we are kinda like 4 month old puppies in an adult dogs body. We both would benefit from obedience training, and we would need a very large fenced yard out in the country to run around in...and if you have cats we may mistake them for fluffy toys...so no cats for us and a fenced yard is required. Also, no little kids either as we are pretty rambunctious and would be stealing their toys to play with, or knocking them over....kids 10 years plus would be fine. We are now housed at the shelter in our own kennels and we are doing fine - so we can be adopted out separately.....although we really enjoy our play dates together at the shelter. An active person or family who has some patience to work with us would be a good match

I am just the sweetest dog who is in need of a home with one or two adults, and who is aware of her sensitive needs. I loves walks, playing with toys, chewing on bones, and my favorite activity- nap time. I have some medical needs and I takes daily medicine for Cushing Disease and environmental allergies. I am also on a special diet (salmon and rice).

I have had quite an adventurous life. I was rescued at age 2 lived with a friends parents from age 2-5 but my parents both passed away so I was adopted at the age 5 with another loving couple however I am a little apprehensive - I gets nervous with sudden movements around me or new people, but once I gets to know you I am a loyal lover and protector. My family gave a small child under 2 and it scares.. I much would rather have a home with no small children . I am up to date on shots and visits the vet regularly.

I get along with the few dogs and so far I have went really good. I have not been around cats so I am not sure how I would be.

ELMO is a sweet, goofy dog. He is approximately 8 years old. He weighs about 50 pounds and is slim and leggy. He was found as a stray in KY. He came up to NY where his adoption options are much greater. He has been my foster since May 7.

He gets along with the 2 cats here and the other 4 dogs ranging from 11 pounds to 85 pounds. He loves the couch but is cooperative about going in the crate when necessary.

Elmo suffered a hip injury sometime in his past. He still runs like the wind and has a normal gait. When looking at his hips from behind, however, you can see that they are uneven. Luckily, Elmo doesn’t know or care anything about this.
He is house trained, quiet and polite. We are so glad he is not a counter surfer like our last sneaky foster dog! He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and on heart worm treatment.
It would be wrong of me not to mention how beautiful Elmo is. His fur is short and shiny. It is black but flecked with reddish brindle that sparkles in the sun. Elmo is a looker and a lover. Hey guys I'm in need of your help!! A very dear friend has passed away and here and left behind 3 super sweet dogs. I'm in the process of getting there exact age but they are about 4 years old Chihuahua mixes! She passed away on Christmas Day.

She was just a very sweet person who always thought of others before herself. Michele always made sure through my hardest times weather it was chemo or COVID she never missed a day with out sending me a heart, smile and any little thing to let me know she was thinking about me. She always sent stuff my way like numbing spray, thermal heat patches and again what ever she thought I can use or may help!!!

Hey guys now I am trying to help these 2 siblings Jacco (70 lbs) and Jackie (50 lbs) Shepherd / hound mixes. They are great dogs it sounds like. I have not met them as of yet but have no fosters to foster them so at the moment I'd like to at least try and get them help. There is no behavior issues however the family now has had children and now have no time for them. I will also see what other information anyone else may need if any one is interested in fostering or adopting them.

They are brother and sister, brother (Jocco) is 70 lbs, sister (Jackie) is 50 lbs. They are a hound/shepherd mix, they received regular check ups at the vet, they do not require any medications, they are 6-1/2 years old and well-behaved. They love to run and chase each other around the yard. They LOVE playing ball. Jackie could play for hours. Jocco likes to make big jumps to get the ball when you throw it over his head. They are affectionate and well behaved. They are fully house trained and have no destructive habits. They are great with kids and all humans. They are good around cats as well. Overall, they are two good dogs who would do very well together in a new home where they can get the attention they deserve.

We are in love! This tiny beagle girl is here in WNY and is safe. Annie is so sweet and gentle. She was found as a stray in Kentucky and taken to a crowded shelter where she was absolutely overwhelmed with fear. Now that she is in a foster home, safe and sound, she is relaxed and enjoying her new dog friends and her “people”. Annie is a small 3 1/2 year old beagle mix weighing only 17 pounds. She is a beautiful girl with long beautiful brown ears and a dot to match on top of her head.

Annie gets along well with dogs, even those larger than she and leaves the cats alone. She is house trained but may have an accident or two when acclimating to her new home. She is up to date on all vaccinations, was recently spayed, and has been dewormed.

Annie’s new home should have a fenced yard due to the tendency for beagles to follow their noses and get lost. Special consideration we will be given to applicants with another friendly dog. Annie does whine a bit when we leave. Because she may have abandonment anxiety issues, we hope her new family will not be away from the home for extended hours. Annie not be adopted out on a first come first served basis. We will check vet and personal references, and do a home visit.

Annie’s adoption donation is $275.00.
