Utah Elks Camp Wapiti
Camp Wapiti was developed for children who are unable to attend other camps due to illness.
Schedule requests received in writing prior to August 1st will be considered and granted for members of the Camp Wapiti Coalition first, before any requests are considered from outside groups. After August 1st, outside user groups will be offered the chance to request any available time slots for the season. Camp clean up is coming fast!! The camp can really use some TLC so if you are free on May 20th please join us!
The weather has been so crazy so please come prepared for all types from rain to sun (wear layers), wear good shoes that can handle mud and bring work gloves if you plan to help outside. You are welcome to bring your own shovel or rake but we also have them available at camp.
Lunch will be provided by the Utah Elks Club for all that come help out.

We provide a heated pool for the kids to enjoy. The pool is heated by solar panels.

Our beautiful lodge provides a great indoor space were groups of up to 200 can eat or participate in activities. Upstairs in the lodge we have a boys and girls individual lodging where camp counselors can sleep as well as separate bathrooms with showers.

Our Firepit and stage area provides a great place for groups to gather and create skits, have talent shows or sing.
Camp Wapiti is a camping area nestled in Settlement Canyon near Tooele, Utah developed and maintained by Utah State Elks Association for the children in Utah who due to illnesses cannot attend other camps. It affords camping experiences for 200 young or old campers, which includes hiking, swimming, arts and crafts, medical treatment and medical teaching for their disease processes. It is also open for school, church, and other organizations when dates are available.
