Meet Stephanie!💞

“Hi I’m Stephanie McCurdy from Rexburg, ID! My cancer journey began unexpectedly when I, a young wife and mother, was diagnosed with colon cancer despite having no family history. The fight was filled with emotional, physical, and financial challenges, but I persevered with the support of my husband, family, and friends, determined to be there for my daughter!

After a year of treatment, I faced a recurrence that led to years of battling the disease. I also experienced heartbreak when told I couldn’t have more children. However, through adoption, I was blessed with four more sons.

Two decades later, cancer returned, but I remained resilient, finding positivity even in the face of additional diagnoses. Now, six months into my latest battle, the emotional toll has been significant, yet it has deepened my empathy for others.

Surrounded by a loving community, I’ve learned the value of service and am inspired by my son’s mission work. Grateful for my blessings, I continue to fight for the life I cherish, looking forward to the opportunity to pay it forward!”

“Hi, I’m Suzie Behm, 66 years old, a mom of 6, adopted mom of 3 granddaughters, and a proud grandma to 32 grandkids and 7 great-grandkids. This year, my husband and I are celebrating 48 years of marriage! I’ve been a nurse since I was 19 and still love my job. In May, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and I’m so grateful to the radiologist who caught it early. Treatment is going well, and I’m incredibly thankful to Tagg N Go for their generous support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.“

Meet Connor from Cedar City 🤍

“Hi! I am Connor. I was born and raised here in Cedar City, and my wife Jill, moved here with her family 10 years ago. We got married in August of 2022 and are planning to start a family soon. Earlier this year, I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of lymphoma called Large B-Cell Lymphoma. Thankfully, we caught it early and started treatments right away, which meant a lot of trips back and forth to Salt Lake City this summer.

In mid-August, I completed six exhausting rounds of chemotherapy, and we have a follow-up scan in November to see if more treatment will be needed. We’re incredibly grateful to the hospital staff in Salt Lake and Cedar City for everything they’ve done and continue to do for us.

The love, support, and prayers we’ve received from our family, friends, and community have meant the world to us. We’re also so thankful to Tag-N-Go for holding their fundraising Scare Wash, which will help ease our financial burden. It’s truly amazing what they do each year to support local families like ours.

We are trusting in God’s sovereignty and grace to carry us through this challenging time and are grateful for every act of kindness along the way. John 16:33. “

“Hi, I’m Melanie Holman, a secretary at Riverside Elementary, wife, mom, and grandma. Earlier this year, I was diagnosed with breast cancer—right after my sister was told she had terminal cancer. While facing the hardest days of my life, I had surgery just before my sister’s funeral. Thankfully, they caught my cancer early, but the treatment costs have been overwhelming. Being nominated for Tagg N Go’s Scare Wash has been an incredible blessing. Thank you to everyone supporting me through this journey. “
