Introducing the Patches and Picnics quilt!!! 🍓🌼🦋

This quilt has been a work in progress since 2019! 😳🫢 I started off with a charm pack by , added lots of 1930’s fabrics, then threw in a few solids. It was so much fun choosing the fabrics, putting together combinations, and making it extra scrappy! 🌈 Patches and Picnics features 64 nine patch blocks with sashing and corner stones to pull it all together! 🫶🏻

I finished the last seam on this 4+ year old WIP last night just as the sun was setting, creating the most beautiful cotton candy sky! 💛🧡💜🩵 I had to run outside and take some photos of course, but I had to get creative with a chair because the deck railings were just stained! 🤪 More photos and details of this quilt coming soon! 😘

Here it is! 🥳 The last and final sawtooth star block for my ! 🙌🏻🎉👏🏻 Miss Sofia! 😍 This block was a bit more difficult for me, but I still enjoyed making it and had fun trying something new! 😊 It’s not perfect by any means, but I love it! 💕 It is such a sweet and unique block! 🦄
