Caffiend is merging with Pharm House Coffee and Boone & Bounty to create Mighty Beast Coffee Roasters. Adam will be working there full-time as the head roaster, so please come visit him in Meriden. The grand opening is Oct. 7!

Roasting! Even after 14 years of roasting, Adam still has a passion for this part of this business. It is apparent when you smell the roast, then taste his coffee.

Adam oversees all of the operations at the roasterie and shop at Caffiend 714 Gage in Topeka, Kansas. He stocks the shelves and is the barista during our Open hours. This guy truly is a jack-of-all trades and a master of some!

Ahhhh.... the smell of green coffee! It is one of my very favorite smells. Have you ever smelled it? When I open one of these bags I dive in for a nose full! I close my eyes and let the intoxicating aroma take me away. It smells like fresh Earth and grains and clean air and everything good. It is nostalgic to me because it reminds me of when I was a little girl on my aunt and uncle's farm. I was in awe of the amazing smells while standing on the ground of a just emptied silo. Pure bliss. If you let it, these smells can saturate your mind, body, and spirit. When I open one of these bags, I imagine I am breathing in the fresh air of a beautiful Kenyan coffee farm....because I am. 🙏
