The adventure continues…
This may be my favorite shirt of the ones I’ve made so far as it combines two things that I enjoy: art and history. I recreated the insignia of the 761st Tank Battalion, The Black Panthers. They were a mostly black unit who fought in World War II, including fighting in the Battle of the Bulge. Among the many honors those soldiers received, the unit received the Presidential Unit Citation from President Carter in 1978

Got my copies of B^tm^n Year Wha? in the mail today! This was a great and fun project to be apart of!
The whole Drake team worked together to create a “create your own adventure” style comic book for Olive’s Halloween party at school. She loved how they turned out and I’ve decided to make them a FREE download (link in the bio)
Hope you all enjoy and Happy Halloween!
Yesterday, I received copies of my daughter and I’s collaboration “Lil Pat”. It’s based on a character she came up with and she was so excited to hold one of the issues!
Came home to the great surprise that copies of my horror comic anthology, “A Harvest Of The Macabre”, have arrived! I love the way it turned out, especially the inspired cover! The comic contains four different stories “scary” stories and but is suitable for teens and adults.
One uncensored panel from an upcoming story in my soon to be released full length comic, “A Harvest Of The Macabre”. This story may be my favorite!(at least for right now 😂) “A Harvest Of The Macabre” will be available in print and digitally starting the final week of October!
I lost someone close to me last week and as the family gathered at his house this evening; I found myself sitting on the couch where I normally would but his empty chair was turned towards me. As the evening progressed, I was the only one in the living room and that’s when I realized how the chair was turned. As irrational as it may sound, I completely expected to see him when I looked up at the chair. I quickly sketched his chair for a memory of the moment and to help me gather my thoughts. One day I’ll be able to properly express how monumental a person that he was but until then, this sketch will have to do
