Topsham Trailriders ATV/Snowmobile Club

We have arrived to the night before Topsham Trailriders 25th Anniversary Night ride! The event is scheduled for tomorrow evening. Registration for this event begins at 4:30 pm in the dirt parking lot located next to 211 Lewiston Road in Topsham. Remember the cost to participate in the event is $10.00 per person and we will also have a pizza bundle available for purchase near 4:30 pm. The raffles and drivers meeting will begin at 5:30 and the ride will leave near 6 pm.

IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT PARKING --

We anticipate that this event is going to draw a large crowd so we have received ONE day permission to use the dirt parking lot located off of Agway Drive in Topsham to park vehicles there. It would be best to navigate there first to park and unload your machine before heading to meet us at the West side park and ride. There will be signs in the trail to help guide you from the Agway Drive parking lot to our West side park and ride.

There will be some parking available at our West side park and ride too but we are going to try and fill the lot up first on Agway Drive.

Do you have any Topsham Trailriders gear? If you do not any, don’t worry we will have some available during our 25th Anniversary night ride scheduled for this coming Saturday, July 20th! Registration begins at 4:30 pm and the cost to join us is $10 per person! You will receive a single door prize ticket when you register but how would you like to receive an extra ticket? The answer is to come to the night event wearing a Topsham Trailriders hat/shirt old or new and you will receive an extra door prize ticket!

Did someone say pizza?

Topsham Trailriders will have a pizza bundle available to be purchased during our upcoming 25th Anniversary Night Ride scheduled for this coming Saturday, July 20th. The bundle will include 2 slices of pizza and drink all for $5.00. Remember that registration begins at 4:30 pm and it costs $10.00 per person to join in the fun on Saturday. We are also aiming to have the pizza arrive around 4:30 too.

We are going to do our best to ensure we have enough pizzas for everyone but we need your help to make this possible. If you are coming please update your facebook status as going. Also, please comment within the facebook event if you will be bringing additional riders.

Topsham Trailriders is gearing up to celebrate 25 years of being a club! We will be hosting a night ride on the west side of our trail system this coming Saturday, July 20th. We have a couple of surprises up our sleeves but we’ve also received many generous donations to used as some of our door prizes! You might just win one!

We also received a donated brand new ATV GPS unit from New England GPS Trailmasters! This unit will be part of a greater raffle we will be doing during our event on Saturday. Thank you to New England GPS Trailmasters for their generous donation!

I've got to share with everyone that the Topsham Trailriders trail crew are tough as nails! Given the heat that was excepted for today our trail master opted to move the start time of today's work party to 7:30 and we still had nearly 10 folks show up to help! I can't thank them enough for bracing the temperatures and helping us prepare for our upcoming 25th anniversary night. The anniversary night ride is being celebrated this coming Saturday, July 20th on the west side of our trail system. We were able to get a lot accomplished and helps to lighten the load for our trail work parties scheduled this week!

I took the opportunity to join the trail crew during today’s work party! I knew the work that they did was hard labor but to experience it first hand opened my eyes even more! They put in countless hours for all of us to be able to enjoy our trails! Thank you for all that you do for us and others! Thank you to trail master Charlie for teaching me a thing or two today!

Thank you, Marcia and Randy Bickford, for hosting tonight's social event. We appreciate your generosity in opening your home to all of us and allowing us to spend the evening together. Thank you as well to everyone who came out and joined us. I am still savoring the delicious food we had tonight!

Given the amount of rain over the weekend, Topsham Trailriders held a trail work party on the west side of our trail system yesterday evening to conduct a detailed inspection. Surprisingly, the trail system withstood the rain well, with existing water holes being a little deeper but still passable. If you're not familiar with the west side trails, it's recommended to not explore them alone. Thank you to all the volunteers who came out to help!

Topsham Trailriders We've been hitting the trails since 1999 as a state recognized ATV and Snowmobile club with over 16 miles of ATV trails and 30 miles of Snowmobile trails in Topsham, ME.  Our club is a proud member for ATV Maine and Maine Snowmobile Association!  

Thank you to House in the Woods for opening your doors today and giving us a tour! We cannot begin to tell you how humbling it was to see all of it firsthand! You all do amazing things and it was our absolute pleasure to deliver the proceeds from our recent benefit ride!

Thank you to all who came out and join Topsham Trailriders last night during our monthly social night. We had folks travel near and far come out and enjoy a meal at Fairground Cafe in Topsham. Thank you to Sarah and her amazing team at Fairground Cafe for making us feel right at home! We hope everyone enjoyed their meal and enjoyed the company!

Topsham Trailriders is scheduled to build a large bridge this coming weekend. To minimize trail closures we will be hosting two very critical simultaneous trail work parties this coming weekend.

We will begin with our first work party on Saturday, June 15th. Please meet at the end of Branch Road in Topsham well before 9 am. During this work party we will be hauling in concrete, pouring the concrete, and hauling lumber in for the bridge. Please bring your machine, water, chain saw (possible brush cutting), and a positive attitude! Donuts and coffee will be provided.

We will continue our weekend with a Father's Day work party on Sunday, June 16th. Once again please meet at the end of Branch Road in Topsham well before 9 am. It is during this work party that we will be building the bridge so please bring your drills with you along with your machine! To celebrate both Father's Day and the efforts of the volunteers we will be providing lunch to all in attendance.

All volunteers are welcomed to join us this weekend to help get the bridge built.

We can only imagine that a lot of folks are excited to hear of the upcoming snowstorm that we are excepting on Sunday! A reminder that trails are still closed. Maine's snowmobile trails suffer from lack of snow, storm damage | WGME This time of year in Maine, it's typically time for folks to start hitting the snowmobile trails. But this season looks a little different.

As we officially kick off the new year the 25th year of Topsham Trailriders, we would like to take the opportunity to introduce our followers to members of the current executive board to include our Board of directors as well. So over the next few weeks we will tell you a little more about each of these folks who dedicate themselves to the betterment of Topsham Trailriders.

Let us begin with Randy Bickford! Randy is a long time member of Topsham Trailriders and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the club. Randy is from the Lisbon Falls area and he used to be a Math teacher which explains his calm and patience demeanor. Randy is active member who helps in any way the club needs help whether it is setting for an event, teaching a safety course, or talking with landowners.

Randy we thank you for your continued commitment to TTR and we appreciate your enthusiasm and energy you bring to the club!

As we enter into the new year our 25th year as Topsham Trailriders please take a look at our events page. It is FULL of in town and out of town ATV rides all over Maine. Some rides are day trips and some are full weekends. Our schedule is going to cover all types of terrain, so don't miss it!

Earlier today, Trailmaster Charlie and Assistant Trailmaster Sam pulled together a small trail work party to inspect the trails on the west side given the weather we experienced a couple of weeks ago. Given the extent of the weather they were not quite that bad! Thank you to the crew who joined them today!
