Thank you to all of my loyal clients for your continued support throughout these crazy times. As some of you may know this is my 7th year behind the chair, it brings me so much joy to serve you and have built so many relationships over the years.

I always strive to provide you with my best work by continuing education, keeping up with the most up-to-date trends, products and quality. That being said, due to the huge inflation of cost, and with being in such high demand with limited availability, I have decided to adjust my pricing to strictly a flat hourly rate (depending on the services provided) starting November 1st, 2021. That means instead of being charged per itemized service, it will just be umbrellaed under the hourly cost (which includes everything needed to get the job done).

For most of you, this will only be a slight increase since my lightening/vivid work has been hourly. For my lovely solid color/gray coverage/haircut clients, the increase will be slightly more.

With a price increase, I understand that some may not be able to continue receiving services from me, and with that I'd like to thank you for taking a chance on me and letting me serve you, please know there are no hard feelings and you are always welcome in my chair!

For those that choose to stick with me, I just want to say I appreciate you, and thank you for your trust.
I have attached an updated price list, which are also available via my Instagram highlights (https://www.instagram.com/savvyheartshair/) along with my preferred payment list and policies.

One of the most tedious tasks. Picking out dark hairs, literally eyes crossing trying to focus on picking up every little hair. It’s a tough job, it’s a tedious job, but somebody has to do it. And when I say somebody I mean somebody other than me 🤣 I’m kidding. Actually if you’re like , patient, understanding, and willing to just go with the flow, then maybe I will consider. Maybe.
Lightened with cream bleach starting with 10vol and picking all the dark tiny strands in foils and moving up for every quadrant. Then I hit the roots with BlondeAF and 20 vol. toned with liquid Demi’s in 9-1, 9-2, 8-2 for 25 minutes. Styled with style, round brushes, and finished with balm.

Today we took my girl to this ELECTRIC neon green from pink (check my stories to see the process). Started with BlondeAF and to lighten the regrowth. Then went in with blank canvas on wet hair to remove the pink, I was left with the perfect blonde canvas. Finally applied an overlay of semis in Area 51 and a little Aquatic. So so bright, so so good. Styled with round brushes. We love.

Another transformation! Maria has relatively straight hair, so here’s an example of what a s**g can look like on someone with not so much natural texture. But check it out…with this cut, suddenly she has some movement, is it magic???
There are FOUR secrets to make this happen. First is the way the hair is cleansed. So whenever I cut a s**g I ALWAYS use new wash, it creates the perfect supple canvas to cut. It gets the hit really clean without stripping it of all the natural goodness, it’s not drying and one step so your hair feels extra soft without heavy conditioners. Second is the way it’s actually cut, creating little pockets for the hair to sit. Cutting each section with intention. By doing so, the hair feels light and airy for easy styling. Third is styling with the right products, my go to’s are Tonik for scalp exfoliation, leave in conditioner and slip for the razor to glide. Jelly is an important one and to be able see near the roots to give that lift for volume and hold, and finally hair balm it’s perfect to fight frizz, ad hold and create a bit of texture without too much grit, this is to be used throughout the mids-ends (all these products are available via the link in my bio). Fourth and final is diffusing (or air drying) the hair and manipulating it with your hands to create bends and flips. I teach you all of this when you book a new client/ transformation haircut, so you can recreate the style at home!

On my girl, .the.force.be.with.you. We used and from start to finish.
Starting with cream bleach and 20 vol with no. 1 on day 1.
She came in today and I started with toning all over using the liquid Demi’s in 9-1, 9-2. After wash and drying 100% I went in with semis for the rainbow root, and used collection 12-11, -11 for that pretty slate gray! Yes I applied then simultaneously, a risky decision on my part because we all know that applying semis right next to an oxidative color is a no-no and weird things can happen when the two merry together but, I’d say nothing funny happened, in fact I really love this creation and now I want to do all the gray/silver and rainbow combinations! Who wants one!!?!?
Tools: bowls and brushes round brushes for that smooth blow dry.

The past two days I spent with .dorothy and learning 4 different extension techniques; I-tip, tape ins, k-tip and beaded weft. All of these techniques are designed for different lifestyles, hair structures, etc. I’m super excited to offer these all these new methods to all of YOU! Y’all. This category is SO special to me. Being nominated for this category for the was a goal of mine and to be recognized amongst so many talented artists is truly an honor. I really thrive off of doing unconventional hair color and I can’t thank .the.force.be.with.you for always letting me create on her hair. This particular creation was so fun to design. Ugh, I’m just so honored to have my work be recognized because obviously with each year, there are more and more talent that enters, and each year it gets harder. My sis in law is moving out of state, and needed her hair to look appropriate for job searching, also a more low maintenance look since it will probably be some time before she’ll be able to get her hair done again.
Just a couple months ago we did an awesome electric aqua/teal, so when she came in today it was mint/light blue.
I started with # and to help rid of any left over color, it barely budged. So next step was to color shift.
I opted to use .
First go around I used clear, 9aa, 9n, 9g. It helped, but I needed to be a little more aggressive because the green was being stubborn. So I used 9rb, a dash of 6cr, 6r. And that worked very very well. Pretty much a blank canvas after that.
After washing and fully drying I did baby lights in the Mohawk and heavy around her hairline using cream bleach and 15 vol.
Did a final tone of 10vv, 9v, 8gi.
The growth y’all. Years ago I would have just given up and threw 6n on it. NOT ANYMORE. The challenge was fun, and thankfully she trusts me 100 percent, so that makes me less stressed! Trust your service provider.
